For this series about 2019 Mural Festival, we're going to see the creative process behind each mural. We begin today with the French Artist Miss Van
So beautiful...
WHERE
On 3579 Boulevard Saint Laurent, Montreal.

WHO
Vanessa Alice aka Miss Van started painting in the streets in Toulouse (south of France) in early 90's then in Barcelona under the nickname of Mademoisselle Kat. Her style is recognizable with her sensual women on the walls of many cities in the world (Los Angeles, Miami, Roma, Shanghai, Copenhagen, Paris, and now Montreal...) as well as on canvas.
On the first day, everything starts with a light green background...
Then the lines of the sketch of the two characters
And slowly the colors appear...
“I’m evolving and growing up with my paintings. It’s the only way, when you paint with emotions and feelings. I’m trying to be true with myself.” - Miss Van (Source)
In the middle of Festival, the mural looks already great, non ?
And the finished work... So cool to have a mural like that near to my home, always a pleasure to walk in front of it.
More about her work on Street Art #005 saw during a trip in Italy.
Do you like to see the creative process like this? I'll do it for some murals done this year. But as I had already shown almost live, this is perhaps redundant, what do you think ?
