In January this year, I have had a reunion with Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina. This amazing city is not only known for its great food and wine, but also culture, history, monuments and museums among others. One of my favourite buildings in Buenos Aires is Casa Rosada. It's located at Plaza de Mayo in the center of the city. I find building with it’s beautiful architecture and striking pink color very attractive. Both because of it’s beauty, but also because of it’s historical significance. It was from the balcony of Casa Rosada that president Juan Perón and his wife Eva Perón, also known as Evita, talked to the people. Perón was the president of Argentina from 1946 and untill he was overthrown in 1955. She was an actress, but when she became the first lady in Argentina, she made use of that positon to fight powerty and women's rights. She became a legend that is is not forgotten.
