This afternoon, I decided to jog around the house after the rain had stopped. The air was still humid, and the road was a bit slippery, but what caught my attention the most were the plants along the road. The green leaves looked fresh with the remnants of rainwater flowing gently on their surfaces. The view was so captivating, that I stopped for a moment to take pictures of the water droplets falling on the tips of the leaves.

Not far from there, there was a red-tipped flower that had just started to change color. The color was not completely red yet, but it looked contrasting with the green leaves around it. The raindrops on the flower petals gave a magical touch that made it look like a natural work of art. Once again, my smartphone came out, capturing this perfect moment.

Photographing plants after the rain turned out to provide its own peace. Every drop of water left behind seemed to hold a story about the rain that had just passed. There was a beauty that could not be explained with words alone, a beauty that was simple, but so strongly felt.

I continued jogging with a calmer mind. This afternoon's rain not only freshened the air, but also gave me the opportunity to see the little wonders around me that are often overlooked.
