Saludos, el tema de la semana en Cinetv Contest es el drama médico, hay muchas películas y series de televisión que se enfocan en los hospitales, el personal que trabajan allí y también los pacientes, por eso decidí participar compartiendo con ustedes una de las películas de drama médico que más me ha impactado, porque a se trata del punto de vista de una paciente, lo cual considero que es sumamente importante, pues la medicina se hace precisamente en beneficio del paciente , pero a veces en ciertas circunstancias las personas ya no soportan estar más tiempo en hospitales y recibir los tratamientos necesarios, es una decisión difícil pero es cierto que estar entrando y saliendo de un hospital no parece una buena vida, es algo delicado pero al mismo tiempo es un drama humano.
Greetings, the theme of the week in Cinetv Contest is medical drama, there are many movies and TV series that focus on hospitals, the staff that work there and also the patients, that's why I decided to participate by sharing with you one of the movies. of medical drama that has impacted me the most, because it is about the point of view of a patient, which I consider to be extremely important, since medicine is done precisely for the benefit of the patient, but sometimes in certain circumstances people no longer they endure spending more time in hospitals and receiving the necessary treatments, it is a difficult decision but it is true that being in and out of a hospital does not seem like a good life, it is something delicate but at the same time it is a human drama.
My Sister's Keeper / La decisión más difícil
Esta es una película que trata sobre una adolescente llamada Kate, ella sufre de leucemia desde que era una niña pequeña, en vista de que su madre, padre y hermano no eran compatibles para donar médula y otras cosas, la madre tiene una hija por in vitro, en donde fue manipulada para que fuese compatible con su hija mayor, hasta el momento de la película la adolescente tiene 15 y su hermana menor 11, está ya le ha servido varias veces como donante, pero cuando necesita un riñón esta se niega y demanda a sus padres, la película transcurre mientras las acciones legales se llevan a cabo y mientras la adolescente entra y sale del hospital por diferentes tratamiento, al final se descubre que Kate fue la que le pidió a su hermana menor Anna que hiciera la acción legal contra los padres porque ella ya estaba cansada de tantas intervenciones medicas que habían prolongado su vida pero que ella ya estaba preparada mentalmente para morir.

El cáncer es una de las enfermedades más terrible, en la película pude ver que tan duro llegan a ser los procedimientos médicos, las quimioterapia, las transfusiones de médula, entre otras cosas, la vida en el hospital debe ser muy dura, vi como una madre que sea aferra a la vida de una hija puede ser increíblemente fuerte e incluso puede ir en contra de todo con tal de salvar a su hija, me pongo en la posicion de la madre pero también me pongo en situación de la joven adolescente quien se siente agotada, creo que es algo muy delicado pues aunque la eutanasia es discutible moralmente, las personas también deberían tener el derecho a decidir cuando ya basta de procedimientos, al ser una adolescente , la madre no quiere aceptar que la joven tenga la madurez suficiente para decidir.

Esta película también me abrió los ojos a una realidad que nunca había conocido, esto es la convivencia que existe entre los enfermos dentro de un hospital, por ejemplo Kate conoce a un chico que también está en terapias para el cáncer en el hospital, ahí mismo se enamoran, los padres le permiten salir con él, pero pronto la tragedia los separa, me hizo pensar que esas amistades que se generan dentro de los hospitales entre los pacientes son tan importantes, pero al mismo tiempo tan vulnerables, pues cada persona está batallando por su vida y no todos logran la victoria.
This movie also opened my eyes to a reality that I had never known, this is the coexistence that exists between patients in a hospital, for example Kate meets a boy who is also undergoing cancer therapy in the hospital, right there they fall in love, the parents allow her to go out with him, but soon the tragedy separates them, it made me think that those friendships that are generated within the hospitals between the patients are so important, but at the same time so vulnerable, because each person is struggling for his life and not all achieve victory.
Creo que no tendría nunca el valor suficiente para trabajar en un hospital, he cuidado a familiares enfermos, pero estar allí dentro atendiendo a tantas personas con diferentes sueños y que estén luchando por su vida, es una situación que necesita mucha fortaleza emocional y yo no tendría el valor, por eso admiro a todos aquellos que laboran en el área médica, también a todos esas personas que esperan dentro de las instalaciones por la mejoría de su familia.
I think I would never have enough courage to work in a hospital, I have cared for sick family members, but being there caring for so many people with different dreams and who are fighting for their lives is a situation that requires a lot of emotional strength and I don't I would have the courage, that's why I admire all those who work in the medical area, also all those people who wait inside the facilities for the improvement of their family.
A pesar de que es una película ficticia, en donde se presenta algo que no es común como lo es que un menor demande a su familia por la independencia médica, creo que es muy realista pues refleja todo lo que en realidad sucede en una familia con un miembro enfermo, lo costoso que pueden ser los tratamientos no solo a nivel económico sino dentro de la dinámica familiar.
Although it is a fictional film, where something is presented that is not common, such as a minor suing his family for medical independence, I think it is very realistic because it reflects everything that actually happens in a family with a sick member, how expensive treatments can be not only financially but also within the family dynamics.
