Share your most memorable or recent anecdote in the kitchen, perhaps a meal gone wrong, a meal together with a partner or friend, a mishap in the kitchen. A happy or sad story, tell us.
Well recently I started preparing a lot of food to have food ready for the next day (for work). I like that because you don't have to arrive tired to get cooking, then clean up and that sort of thing. So the food issue was solved for the time being. However, these days I had a mishap and lately the electricity has been out much more frequently, so I had to go for a day and a half without a fridge and, unfortunately, the food I had prepared was in a bad state. They were beans and I make them in abundance to last the whole week, so I lost all that. It was a bit sad, but these things happen. Some things can't be avoided.

Comparta su anécdota más memorable o reciente en la cocina, tal vez una comida que salió mal, una comida conjunta con un compañero o amigo, un percance en la cocina. Una historia feliz o triste, cuéntanos.
Bueno recientemente comencé a preparar abundante comida para tener comida lista para el día siguiente (por el trabajo). Eso me gusta porque no hay que llegar cansado a ponerse a cocinar, luego limpiar todo y ese tipo de cosas. Por lo que ese asunto de la comida estaba resuelto por los momentos. Sin embargo, en estos días tuve un percance y es que últimamente se ha ido la electricidad con mucha más frecuencia, por lo que dure 1 día y medio sin nevera y para mala suerte, la comida que había preparado, estaba en mal estado. Eran frijoles y los hago en abundancia para que duren toda la semana, por lo que perdí todo eso. Fue un poco triste, pero son cosas que pasan. Hay cosas que no se pueden evitar. Ahora, aunque sea un poco más retador, intento no guardar comida sabiendo que tengo problemas con eso. Solo lo del día sigueinte
What is your favourite corner or area of your home/environment and why do you prefer it there?
My favourite corner of the house is the living room. The reason is because that's where I have a big window which I usually open to air everything out, let the cats out (they sit in a box that I leave there to rest), listen to the sounds outside and breathe from time to time. That window means a lot to me. I also like it because there is a wooden sofa that I really like because I can sit there and have some coffee, hang out with my pets, work or just distract myself with the phone.
I think I also like it because in my room there is an air conditioner because here in Puerto Ordaz it is very hot, besides the window of the room cannot be opened. And although I don't love the heat, I don't like being in the cold all the time either. So I tend to spend more time outside. That way I can also spend time with my pets. Although I haven't been able to buy furniture to make it more useful, I feel like it's still my space. I have a coffee table where I keep my coffee thermos, my mug, Brandy's (my dog) ball, I put a cushion on the couch that I wrap a soft blanket around and so on. It pleases me.

¿Cuál es tu rincón o zona favorita de tu casa/entorno y por qué lo prefieres ahí?
Mi rincón favorito de la casa es la sala. La razón es porque en ese lugar es dónde está una gran ventana la cual suelo abrir para poder ventilar todo, dejar salir a los gatos (ellos se sienten en una cajas que dejo ahí para que descansen), escuchar un poco los sonidos de afuera y respirar de vez en cuando. Esa ventana significa mucho para mi. También me gusta porque hay un sofá de madera que me gusta mucho porque puedo sentarme allí a tomar un poco de café, pasar el tiempo con mis mascotas, trabajar o simplemente distraerme con el teléfono.
Creo que también me agrada porque en mi cuarto hay un aire acondicionado porque acá en Puerto Ordaz hace mucho calor, aparte que la ventana del cuarto no se puede abrir. Y aunque a mí no me encanta el calor, tampoco me gusta mucho eso de estar todo el rato en ese frío. Por lo que suelo pasar más tiempo afuera del cuarto. Así también puedo pasar tiempo con mis mascotas. Aunque no he podido comprar muebles para hacerlo más util, siento que a pesar de eso es mi espacio. Tengo una mesita de café dónde dejo mi termo de café, mi taza, la pelota de Brandy (mi perra), al sofá le coloco un cojín que envuelvo con una cobija suave y así. Me agrada.
