That's good 'dadding' right there! Kids do seem to grow up faster these days for any number of reasons so attempts at slowing down the process gives them more time to mature their critical thinking processes. Sometimes kids get thrust out into the wild, wild world way too early and become easy prey for those intent on corruption.
