The new season of the splinterlands game has started and it is time to play more battles and increase the rating as well as the league. It is a cycle that we follow every season and try to grab the best rewards possible in the game. There are certain criteria to follow for better in-game rewards and undoubtedly SPS is one of the important components to have higher rewards in the game. Now we are rewarded with glint tokens which is the currency that we can use in the shop to buy anything available across and we also have the flexibility to hold any number of tokens that we can use later. Although this token is not tradeable it can be used in the reward shop and we can buy anything available over there. I prefer accumulating more tokens and buying different assets in the reward shop from time to time.
This season and reward is now revealed and I have got 117K glint tokens as part of the end-of-season reward. I know that this is not a big amount but it is also not bad and apart from this I also earn the tokens every day with each winning battle. Currently, I am playing in the Diamond League and my current boost is 10.46x with this my estimated winning token count is 494. This is based on multiple components in the game what cards are used in the battle along with my overall SPS holding but roughly this is what I can earn through the next winning ranked battle.
Now talking about the season and reward that I have received hence here is the snapshot for the same where you can see that I ended up in the Champion 3 league. Earlier I wanted to stay in Diamond then I changed my mind and entered in Champion League to see how it goes now I have 117K Glint tokens as part of the end-of-season reward and I think this amount is not bad. I have claimed it already and it is added to the balance that I have as of now.
Currently, I have 583k glint tokens and now I am going to use some to buy assets in the shop. Today I am going to buy 25 epic cards and this time I'm not going for the legendary because I think epic cards are also a good addition to the game and it is good to have them as much as possible. I don't know what cards I'm going to get but these days the reward cards we get from the latest edition known as Rebellion are pretty good. I am trying to have more cards in the game so that I can grow my overall holding with higher levels and when I think of playing in the modern then it will help me to get started. I'm also collecting the alchemy potion with this buy which will increase my chances of getting gold foil cards.
I opened all the cards and saw I purchased 25 epic cards and out of this, I got 2 gold cards. Getting two gold cards out of 25 cards is not bad and I am happy to have it.
This season has just started and has got more than 15 days to end which is a great amount of time. Although the end-of-season reward is good sometimes I observe that my daily reward is better than the end of the reward because I get more glint tokens as part of winning ranked battles every day. I have not done any calculations on this but it looked like that because my balance goes nicely with each parking day and when I look at the balance around season end then it is pretty good and it also helps me to buy more cards from the workshop because ultimately having more card in the account is the best strategy to improve the gameplay.
