Volví, es que tal vez soy el tío que aparece solo el 31 de diciembre y no le he dicho a nadie.
Creo que podemos decir que este es mi segundo intento de "Volviendo a las acuarelas". Las prácticas con acuarelas estuvieron pospuestas por un rato, el motivo: no había acuarelas. Sí, me quedé sin acuarelas y por un descuido mío.
Salí a pintar en una plaza cerca de donde vivo. Mi esposo me acompañó, todo iba bien, pero al devolvernos me di cuenta de que no las traía en el bolso. Se perdieron tontamente, creí que las encontraría donde mismo y caminamos de regreso. Además, las acuarelas estaban ya muy acabadas, hasta faltaban colores 😐 pero... No estaban ahí.😭
Hace poco fue que compré otras, hasta ahora las he usado solo 2 veces. La pigmentación es bastante intensa y aunque no son de uso profesional, les veo bastante potencial. Son de la marca Pointer y esta presentación tiene 36 colores.
¿Cuánto tardaré para llenar de flores este block? Parece chiste, pero quizás y sea un año. Me tomo el tiempo de hacer las cosas poco a poco, lo digo porque están los métodos tipo Bob Ross para pintura paisajista, que con solo tres pincelas y golpes al lienzo has hecho casi todas las figuras.
En estos días vi un vídeo en tiktok en el que dibujaban un ramo de flores con acuarelas en menos de un minuto. Lo único que hizo la persona fue dejar caer varias gotas de agua y en cada gota dejó caer un poco de color y listo.
No creo que ese método sea lo mío, ¿dónde está la introspección y el detalle? Está bien para acelerar la producción si se necesita dibujar miles en poco tiempo. Pero a mí me gusta ir con calma y trabajar capa por capa, aunque el resultado termine siendo algo indescifrable (algunas veces)😅. Al menos esa es mi opinión en cuanto a dibujar flores con acuarelas.
Paso a paso
Esta flor la hice, estrenando el pincel que trajo la acuarela, el cual pensé que solo serviría para hacer manchas grandes y trazos gruesos, pues resulta que si me funcionó, hice líneas muy delgadas sin problema.
El boceto es de una flor de cayena. Que pinté usando el color rosa, pero el resultado final se me hace más parecido a un lirio enano.
En la cámara no se ve tan brillante el color, pero la verdad es casi neón. Como les dije los colores están muy chéveres.👌🏼
Deseo terminar esta página con solo flores o hojas, para comenzar con algunas frutas. Así podré conservar aunque sea un block de dibujos decentes, ya que los anteriores termino usándolos para escribir. 😅

I went out to paint in a square near where I live. My husband accompanied me, everything was going well, but when we returned I realised that I didn't have them in my bag. I thought I would find them right there and we walked back. Besides, the watercolours were already very finished, there were even colours missing 😐 but.... They weren't there 😭.

How long will it take to fill this block with flowers? It sounds like a joke, but maybe a year. I take the time to do things little by little, I say this because there are the Bob Ross type methods for landscape painting, that with only three brushes and strokes on the canvas you have done almost all the figures.
These days I saw a video on tiktok in which they drew a bouquet of flowers with watercolours in less than a minute. The only thing the person did was to drop several drops of water and on each drop he dropped a bit of colour and that was it.
I don't think that method is my thing, where's the introspection and detail? It's fine for speeding up production if you need to draw thousands in a short time. But I like to take it easy and work layer by layer, even if the result ends up being somewhat indecipherable (sometimes)😅. At least that's my opinion when it comes to drawing flowers with watercolours.
Step by step
I made this flower, using for the first time the brush that came with the watercolour, which I thought would only be useful to make big stains and thick strokes, but it turns out that it worked, I made very thin lines without any problem.
The sketch is of a cayenne flower. I painted it using pink, but the final result looks more like a dwarf lily.
In the camera it doesn't look so bright, but it's almost neon. As I said the colours are very cool. 👌🏼
I want to finish this page with only flowers or leaves, to start with some fruits. That way I can keep at least one decent sketchbook, as I end up using the previous ones for writing. 😅
