Hello, hello, photogenic hivers.
Photos from my last visit to Playa Conoma, Sucre. This beach is one of my favourites because of how quiet and clean it is. I particularly love the artwork of the Virgen del Valle on the rocks in the distance.
Going there means eating a good fish empanada and accompanying it with a piña colada.
But be forewarned, to get there you have to go down the steepest street I have ever seen in my life, not any car can get there and even if you get there, to get out of there the tremendous problem of going up is the origin of not once, but TWICE I had to climb 1.5 kilometres. One of the most exhausting experiences of my life and not suitable for people with a heart condition, because being so steep every step feels as if you had 10 kilos of iron in each leg, and people, I am from the plain with its linear horizontal terrain, no climbs, that kilometre and a half just starts to suck the life out of you.
By the way, my last time I not only had to carry myself up to the top, but I also had to help push a cart up the hill. Funny stories among friends as time goes by, but without a doubt, a total nightmare when you find yourself face to face at the start of your hike to the road at the top.

Hola, hola, hivers fotogénicos.
Fotitos de mi última visita a Playa Conoma, Sucre. Esta playa es de mis favoritas por lo tranquila y limpia que es. En particular adoro el arte que hay de la Virgen del Valle en las rocas a la distancia.
Ir hasta allá significa comer una buena empanada de pescado y acompañarlo con una piña colada.
Pero tengan previsiones, para llegar hasta ella hay que bajar por la calle más empinada que he visto en mi vida, no cualquier carro puede llegar hasta allá y aunque llegues, para salir de allí el tremendo problema al subir es el origen de no una, sino DOS VECES que tuve que subir 1.5 kilómetros. De las experiencias más agotadoras de mi vida y no apto para cardiacos, porque al ser tan empinada cada paso se siente como si tuvieras 10 kilos de hierro en cada pierna, y gente, yo soy del llano con sus terrenos lineales horizontales, nada de subidas, ese kilómetro y medio a penas inicia te chupa la vida.
De paso en mi última vez no solo tenía que subirme a mí misma hasta la cima, sino que también ayude a empujar un carro cuesta arriba. Cuentos chistosos entre amigos cuando pasa el tiempo, pero sin duda, una pesadilla total cuando te encuentras frente a frente al inicio de tu caminata hacia la carretera en la cima.
