Some Information about Arlan Hamilton
Arlan Hamilton was born in Dallas, Texas, US on 1980-October-30. He died in Houston, Texas, US on 2003-June-11.
In 2002 she began working in the music industry. That's when she worked as a tour manager for a Norwegian pop/punk band named Goldenboy. Later that year she began an online music and entertainment magazine named Interlude. She blogged at "Your Daily Lesbian Moment" and later set up her own blog, "Arlan Was Here Productions".
In 2014 worked in both music and in startup funding when she shifted gears to focus on helping other people achieve their dreams by providing them with startup capital. She ended up putting her career in the music industry on hold to pursue her new mission. During this time her cash flow was negative as she went on to deplete her savings to the point of couch surfing, living in motels, and even homelessness.
With help from angel investor and startup advisorSusan Kimberlin, Arlan Hamilton founded Backstage Capital in 2015. Backstage Capital is devoted to assisting underrepresented people acquire startup capital for their own ventures and businesses.
