The Inexplicability Of Death And Why People Often Chose To Be In Denial Of It.

I've been sick for the past few days and it's making me have heartburn, uncontrollable stomach ache and of course pain in my chest region; Truth is, sometimes we Only become aware of some things when our lives hangs by the balance. Up till now so many people doesn't know the loss that comes with death and this is because they haven't really lost someone that mattered to them. Death is incomprehensible simply because its effect sometimes can be larger than our imagination. It's painful sometimes to know that people take time to live but don't accept or prepare for the time they might die and because no one wants to talk about death they totally deny it's sovereignty to do and undo.

While going through this illness, I've come to realise that there's nothing special about life especially when you're aware that anyday anytime you'll be snuffed out from the people you love, into a place that's unexplainable, into a place where you don't know if you'll be feel consciousness or total blankness or just hovering endless in a void. People focus on far too many cozy things, chasing billions, paying insurance and doing regular checkups on their health condition because they feel this might helped them live long forgetting that these things do not determine whether we live full lives or really short ones.

People die everyday, richer people, healthier people and one thing we must know is that we can never be too good for death, we can never fathom the scale of preference of death neither can we say we've prepared for, because everything we do in life is risk, and people die from risk, people die from exposure and people die from unforseen circumstances. I particularly saw my father die in front of me and just a few weeks back he was healthier than anything I know; what does this proves? It proves that time is inconsequential to death and the more aware we chose to be of death, the more different we'll chose to live our lives.

The most important thing is, we can't live in denial of death because we don't own lives, if we own our lives we'd choose where we'd be born into, and we'd choose when we'd die and sadly this is the one more reason why we should define the way we live because it's the only thing that we can control. Some people feels that death is total unconsciousness and hence they'll not feel anymore thing when they're no more, but who has every died, woken up and written a journal on the plausibility of this?

In life, one of the many thing we can't predicate, dictate or control is death and this will continue to be so. However I feel that whether our lives is short or longer isn't something we can tell. In my case I've suffered from something I'll call a genetic disorder and sometimes it threatens to take my life for the past 25 years and each day I've woken up to fact that some people who I know that are healthier than me have died and this makes me even aware of the fact that we sometimes live beyond what people might predict and lose our lives far more beyond what people can comprehend.

The idea is to live right, do the things that our conscience deems worthy which indirectly translates to us controlling the things we can control and allowing it influence things like death which we can't control.
