In our last meeting, we discussed the reasons why we tend to accumulate apps on our phones and how much our lives can be improved significantly if we don't have any of these apps on our phones. We also shared examples of what we can term as useless apps and what makes it a useless app to us.
THIS WEEK'S TOPIC:
Adaptive Education
As technology continues to evolve, how we learn and work changes. The question here is raised, should schools rethink their ways of teaching students and their methods of examinations? Should schools focus less on strict rules in exams and test students more on their use of technology to solve problems? In this discussion, we would discuss how education can evolve with technology changes.
Discussion Questions:
What is your thought on the present educational system in your location? Do you think it prepares one for work in reality?
How do you think schools can transform their teaching methods to match the way technology is changing the way we learn?
Do you think students should be tested more on their ability to use technology effectively?
How can exams be redesigned to reflect the skills needed in a tech-driven world?
