There are several communities on hive that I appreciate a lot including proof of brain, verify your brain, ladies of hive, inkwell, weekend, Wednesday walk, free writers, shadow hunters, and thoughtful daily post. However, the community that I found to be most inspiring is

The tribe is Alive like its name. The admins and moderators are so active and supportive. Moreover, there is a daily contest for the delegation of 200hp and 1000 Alive token. The contest is announced from @iamalivechalleng account everyday. It is quite simple. A post is highlighted on which the participants are required to give engagement. Later there is draw to derive the winners.

Moreover, there is a daily C- C- C post displaying a collection of awesome posts published in the community. This post is published via @aliveandthriving account.

The community has its own front-end and token. The token can be earned by using #alive in your posts.

Further, there is a topic for chat via @ alive.chat account everyday. Alive tokens are generated via this chat.

I had always been passionate about, but writing had never been an easy task for me. Infected by perfectionism and high self expectations, I used to discard topics one after the other. I was very selective about topics I wrote. I felt like I was only supposed to write about intellectual, collective or knowledgeable topics. It restricted me to writing very little.

When I came on Hive, I found a way to combat perfectionism. Hive made me understand the meaning of social media aspect in the blogging. I realized there were many aspects about the personal life that can be written down and published. It helped me coming out of my shell and made me writing more. However, there was another fear that persisted and hindered my way of writing. That was the fear of not being able to produce enough content on a topic that could be called as quality content. Unless I would be sure that there are already enough thoughts and ideas to write a quality post, I didn't start. As Simon Sinek said

The hardest part is starting. Once you get that out of the way, you'll find the rest of the journey much easier.

I was still stuck in that hardest part because of the fear that I wouldn't be able to fulfil the minimum requirement of words for the post to be called as quality.

At the end of the year 2021, I found my way to we are alive tribe. It has some simple rules to follow.

The community doesn't guide its members to produce such and such number of words for its posts. Instead, it encourages its member to appreciate their lives in any way they want. After joining this community, I felt free to write on anything. Any thought, small or big, became worthwhile for writing; the silliest happening of the day became valuable; the regular routine work revealed their hidden awesomeness on me.

Because there was no fear of not producing a minimum number of words for the post, the hardest thing (starting the write up) became easier, and then their happened the magic.

The post that I started with assumption that I would be writing 100 words for this, I ended up writing 400 or more words. It happened again and again. It made me understand that I actually have more thoughts on a topic that I initially think of. I understood that it is not necessary to cook an idea first than to bring it on the paper. Instead, it is important to come to the paper first then the thoughts flow themselves. In this way, We Are Alive Tribe Community breathed a new life into the frightened write inside me.
