Hello friends!, I hope you're feeling great. I think it's no secret to Wednesday Walk followers that my wife has become my faithful companion for walks through iconic places in the city of Caracas. There are many places to clear our heads that we have been going to lately, sometimes to get to know and sometimes to exercise, but always happy to be together. This time we decided to go to the west of Caracas and take a walk through the beautiful Parque del Oeste.
¡Hola amigos, espero que se encuentren muy bien!. Creo que no es un secreto para los seguidores de Wednesday Walk que mi esposa se ha convertido en mi compañera fiel de paseos por sitios icónicos de la ciudad de Caracas. Son muchos los lugares para despejarse a los que hemos ido últimamente, a veces para conocer y a veces para ejercitarnos, pero siempre felices de estar juntos. En esta ocasión decidimos ir hacia el oeste de Caracas y dar un paseo por el hermoso Parque del Oeste.
Also known as Alí Primera Park, it is a place we know very well, since during university classes we have both had to go to this park, because one of the university's campuses is located in a museum inside it. The park has a beautiful lake that contrasts with the trees and should have a stream, but on this occasion it was dry in many parts of its course.
También conocido como Parque Alí Primera, es un lugar que conocemos muy bien, ya que en época de clases universitarias ambos hemos tenido que asistir a este parque, porque una de las sedes de la universidad se encuentra en un museo dentro del mismo. El parque tiene un hermoso lago que hace contraste con los árboles y debería tener un riachuelo, pero en esta ocasión estaba seco en muchas partes de su cause.
The day we walked around here a familiar sound captured our attention, and is that in the acoustic shell in the middle of the park there were many children and adolescents of the nuclei of our institution rehearsing the songs that we have been preparing for a massive event that will be next year. We didn't get too close either, hahaha, the idea was to get away from our choral work, but it was nice to hear the music in the background; the shell has good acoustics and you could hear it all the way to the other side of the lake.
El día que paseamos por aquí un sonido familiar capturó nuestra atención, y es que en la concha acústica en medio del parque habían muchos niños y adolescentes de los núcleos de nuestra institución ensayando las canciones que hemos estado preparando para un evento masivo que habrá el próximo año. No nos acercamos mucho tampoco jajaja, la idea era despejarnos incluso de nuestro trabajo coral, pero fue grato escuchar la música de fondo; vaya que la concha tiene buena acústica y se escuchaba hasta el otro lado del lago.
I don't know why, but in the middle of the park on a hill there is a small house, very picturesque, really a small cabin as you can see in the pictures. Correct me if you know this place and you read me at this moment, but it even gave us the impression that someone lived there, and we are not surprised, since in the park there is a public school and a museum, the place lends itself to various activities.
No sé por qué, pero en medio del parque en una colina hay una pequeña casa, muy pintoresca, realmente una pequeña cabaña como pueden apreciar en las fotografías. Que me corrijan quienes conocen este lugar y me leen en este momento, pero hasta nos dio la impresión de que alguien vivía ahí, y no nos extraña, ya que en el parque hay una escuela pública y un museo, el lugar se presta para diversas actividades.
Don't be fooled by these pictures, the park is full of beautiful cats, but I didn't get any perfect pictures of them to share, but in each of these places you can find one of different colors. Unlike the park I shared with you last week, this one is brightly lit and also looks cool to me, as there are plenty of spaces to sit in the shade and enjoy the park's surroundings.
No se dejen engañar por estas fotografías, el parque está lleno de hermosos gatos, pero no obtuve ninguna foto perfecta de ellos como para compartirlas, pero en cada uno de estos lugares puedes hallar uno de colores diversos. A diferencia del parque que les compartí la semana pasada, este es muy iluminado y también me parece fresco, ya que hay muchos espacios para sentarse bajo la sombra y disfrutar de los alrededores del mismo.
