An happy Wednesday to you all! It's raining again here in my area (Tuscany, in Italy) and all the trees around are now in the shades of red, brown and yellow colors. I love the colors we can see in this season, they give me a sort of quiet and relaxed mood, it's like to be in a pause from the hot temperature of the Summer and the cold temperature of the Winter, while the nature start to rest. ❤️
This morning there was a blackbird in my backyard, at a certain moment it seemed he was watching me with his yellow eye and I thought it could be the right time to paint a new blackbird in my own illustrative style and so I did it|

As you can see, the subject is a blackbird with a big belly on a branch of a tree.
It's an oil painting (with just some touches of white ink on the wings) on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, like I use to do for you, I took some pics while I was painted it on my small working table pplaced close to my window:
