Chaos Battle Mage

Buenas noches a todos. Hoy presento mi nueva entrada al concurso de @Splinterlands, esta semana me inspire mucho a dibujar porque vi que hay nuevas cartas, eso me agrada porque me ayuda a inspirarme un poco mas y salir de la rutina de dibujar los mismos personajes, esta en particular me encanto por los colores y el dinamismo que tiene toda la carta, se ve súper increíble y no quería perder la oportunidad de recrearla a mi estilo, para esta oportunidad decidí nuevamente usar la escala de grises por la complejidad del dibujo, aunque no fue facil me gusto como quedo, para la próxima vez trabajare como lo hago normalmente porque me siento mas cómoda asi, ya que aun siento que con esta técnica no manejo completamente bien los colores, aun asi em pareció un trabajo bonito y al cual le dedique mucho tiempo y detalle, espero que les guste.

Today I present my new entry to the @Splinterlands contest, this week I was very inspired to draw because I saw that there are new cards, I like that because it helps me to get inspired a little more and get out of the routine of drawing the same characters, this one in particular I loved the colors and the dynamism that has the whole card, it looks super amazing and I didn't want to miss the opportunity to recreate it in my style, for this opportunity I decided again to use the grayscale for the complexity of the drawing, although it was not easy I liked how it turned out, for the next time I will work as I normally do because I feel more comfortable this way, since I still feel that with this technique I don't handle the colors completely well, even so I found it a nice work and to which I dedicated a lot of time and detail, I hope you like it.

Proceso/Process

Realice mi boceto y luego empecé a rellenar con escala de grises el fondo y luego cada parte del personaje, dejando en claro las luces y sombras en cada capa que estaba manejando, luego pinte la ropa y cabello asi como los guantes los cuales fueron demasiado difíciles ya que no estoy acostumbrada a pintar guantes, me confunde un poco como colocar la luz en este tipo de accesorios.

I made my sketch and then I started to fill with grayscale the background and then each part of the character, making clear the lights and shadows in each layer I was handling, then I painted the clothes and hair as well as the gloves which were too difficult since I'm not used to paint gloves, I'm a little confused about how to place the light in this kind of accessories.

Después de ocuparme de todo el cuerpo, cabello y ropa empecé a dibujar las cartas alrededor de mi personaje, dibuje cada una dándole detalles mas o menos similares a las cartas originales, una vez listo empecé a colorear mi dibujo usando diferentes modos de capa que realmente fueron mas experimentos que saber exactamente lo que haría, quise que para este Fanart mi personaje tuviese un vestuario mas colorido que el original asi que decidí pintarlo de morado.

After taking care of all the body, hair and clothes I started to draw the cards around my character, I drew each one giving details more or less similar to the original cards, once ready I started to color my drawing using different layer modes that really were more experiments than knowing exactly what I would do, I wanted for this Fanart my character to have a more colorful costume than the original so I decided to paint it in purple.

Añadí color a las cartas y varias capas donde fui dando luces y sombras mas fuertes, finalmente realice un ajuste de color y brillo resaltando mucho mas las cartas y darle ese efecto mágico que quería.

I added color to the cards and several layers where I was giving stronger lights and shadows, finally I made a color and brightness adjustment highlighting much more the cards and giving that magical effect I wanted.
