Lux Vega

Muy buenas noches a todos. A pesar de haber pasado por algunos días malos y un bloque artístico, decidí tomarme las cosas con un poco más de calma, tenía nuevamente ese ánimo e inspiración para seguir e incluso quise hacer un trabajo un poco mas complicado, elegí una carta que estéticamente me encanta Lux Vega y decidí recrearla a un estilo bastante atrevido y realista, todos los detalles fueron hechos con mucho cuidado e intentando ser lo mas precisa posible para estar feliz con el resultado, al final me encanto como se ve, espero que les guste esta versión.

Despite having gone through some bad days and an artistic block, I decided to take things a little more calmly, I had again that mood and inspiration to continue and even wanted to do a little more complicated work, I chose a card that aesthetically I love: Lux Vega and decided to recreate it in a very bold and realistic style, all the details were made with great care and trying to be as accurate as possible to be happy with the result, in the end I love how it looks, I hope you like this version.

Proceso/Process

Realicé mi boceto, en esta oportunidad quería inspirarme en el traje original pero cambiando algunas cosas, dejando algunas partes del cuerpo más descubiertas, quise cambiar el tamaño del sombrero haciéndolo más pequeño y me gusto la idea de mantener el peinado con trenzas, aunque sabia que seria un reto pintarlo más adelante. Empecé a colorear la piel con un tono lila muy pálido y desaturado luego empecé a añadir mas colores a la piel con tonos similares, dándole luces y sombras, mezcle los colores hasta dejar una piel suave pero con una ligera textura, poco a poco comencé a pintar cada prenda de su vestuario empezando por el top, luego la falda y después los guantes, llego el momento de pintar el cabello y utilice diferentes tonos de azul desaturados para esto, creo que esta fue la parte en la que mas me tarde ya que pinte cada trenza diferente y siguiendo la forma que le di al principio.

I made my sketch, this time I wanted to be inspired by the original costume but changing some things, leaving some parts of the body more uncovered, I wanted to change the size of the hat making it smaller and I liked the idea of keeping the hairstyle with braids, although I knew it would be a challenge to paint it later.
I started to color the skin with a very pale and desaturated lilac tone then I started to add more colors to the skin with similar tones, giving it lights and shadows, I mixed the colors until I left a soft skin but with a light texture, little by little I started to paint each garment of her wardrobe starting with the top, then the skirt and then the gloves, it was time to paint the hair and I used different shades of desaturated blue for this, I think this was the part that took me the longest because I painted each braid differently and following the shape I gave it at the beginning.

Le di volumen a cada parte del vestuario para que no se viese tan plano, después pinte el sombrero con marrón oscuro y luego agregue los detalles como la gema roja que tiene en el centro, para el fondo quería un color sólido, elegí un tono claro que iba más acorde a mi dibujo, después pinte algunas cartas flotando alrededor y finalmente edite la imagen ajustando la saturación, contraste y exposición de todo el dibujo, además de agregarle un efecto mas oscuro a los bordes.

I gave volume to each part of the costume so it didn't look so flat, then I painted the hat with dark brown and then I added the details like the red gem in the center, for the background I wanted a solid color, I chose a light tone that was more in line with my drawing, then I painted some cards floating around and finally I edited the image adjusting the saturation, contrast and exposure of the whole drawing, plus I added a darker effect to the edges.
