Cuando vi el arte de @yetsimar quedé maravillado y en seguida me dieron ganas de pintarlo en acuarela. Le pedí permiso para usar su imagen de referencia y aceptó.
Fue un reto para mí, porque es primera vez que pinto un animal peludo en acuarela y sobre todo al 100%, sin usar creyón u otra técnica complementaria.
Algo también que me motivó a no postergar este dibujo, fue el que hizo @enmy aquí que viéndolo me dieron unas ganas tremendas de agarrar las acuarelas y ponerme en acción.
When I saw @yetsimar's art I was amazed and immediately felt like painting it in watercolor. I asked her permission to use her reference image and she agreed.
It was a challenge for me, because it's the first time I paint a furry animal in watercolor and especially 100%, without using crayon or any other complementary technique.
Something that also motivated me not to postpone this drawing, was the one made by @enmy here that made me want to grab the watercolors and get into action.
Algo fácil en este arte fue decidir por dónde comenzar, ya que la base era muy obvia. Sin embargo en el dibujo a lápiz no me fue tan bien e hice la parte izquierda muy gande y la nariz muy pequeña. Mi error fue fijarme en el arte terminado de Yetsimar y no en el esqueleto base.
An easy thing to do in this art was to decide where to start, since the base was very obvious. However in the pencil drawing I didn't do so well and made the left side too big and the nose too small. My mistake was to look at Yetsimar's finished art and not at the base skeleton.

Con el fondo resalta el personaje y debo decir que en las fotos no se aprecia mucho la calidad. De hecho, mientras escribo el post y veo las imágenes me decepciono un poco, pero cuando veo el original en físico me alivio y me gusta.
Tampoco es que sea una obra espectacular. Siento que me falta mucho nivel todavía, pero estos complacido con el resultado y lo disfruto.

With the background highlights the character and I must say that in the pictures the quality is not much appreciated. In fact, while I write the post and see the images I am a little disappointed, but when I see the original in physical I am relieved and I like it.
