Hello beautiful people! I hope you're all doing great and if you're not, you will be soon! I took a few days off from drawing, since I was feeling bad, not many people know, but I suffer from cervical pain, so you know how it is when it comes to making drawings when I'm sick. But after my days of rest, I'm back to drawing and this time in digital, since it's more feasible and it's not so complicated for me. I made the character of Naga Warrior to participate in the Splinterlands art contest, I hope you like it.

Hola gente bonita! ¡Espero estén súper bien todos y si no lo están, pronto lo estarán! Me tome unos días de descanso en cuanto al dibujo, ya que me andaba sintiendo mal, no muchos saben, poro sufro de la cervical, así que ya sabrán como sera el tema a la hora de hacer dibujos cuando ando mal. Pero después de mis días de descanso, vuelvo a dibujar y esta en digital, ya que es mas factible y no se me complica tanto. Hice al personaje de Naga Warrior para participar en el concurso de arte de Splinterlands, espero les guste.

I started by making the sketch in traditional, and then I went to digital. I took as a reference the photo of a girl I found on Pinterest and the original illustration. I didn't want to get too complicated when structuring the whole character, so I focused on making my version only of the face, integrating elements of the original illustration to my version, so that it would look as similar as possible to the original character.

Comencé haciendo el boceto en tradicional, para luego pasarlo al digital. Tome como referencia la foto de una chica que encontré en Pinterest y la ilustración original. No quise complicarme tanto a la hora de estructurar todo el personaje, así que me enfoque en hacer mi versión solo del rostro, integrando elementos de la ilustración original a mi versión, para que así se viera lo mas parecido o que tuviese similitud con el personaje original.

When I had the sketch ready, what I did was to pass it to Clip Studio Paint to begin to define and clean it, in order to leave it ready to finally start painting it. I improved certain aspects of the sketch that I had seen that were wrong before starting with the color.

Cuando tuve el boceto listo, lo que hice fue pasarlo al Clip Studio Paint para comenzar a definir y limpiar el mismo, para así dejarlo listo para ya por fin comenzar a pintarlo. Mejore ciertos aspecto que tenia el boceto y que había visto que estaban mal antes de comenzar con el color.

I started by adding a base color to the drawing, which was the skin color. After that I went on to add the other base colors for each area in the drawing. The color palette is always taken from the original character and there are times when I do change it, but not this time. After adding the color, I start working on the shadows and after that, I start detailing the whole drawing.

Comencé agregando un color base al dibujo, el cual fue el color de la piel. Luego de eso me fui a agregar los damas colores base para cada zona en el dibujo. La paleta de color siempre la tomo del personaje original y hay veces en las que si llego a cambiarla, pero esta vez no. Luego de haber agregado el color, paso a trabajar las sombras y después de eso, comienzo a detallar todo el dibujo.

I start detailing the face, then the hair and finally the areas that stand out the least in the illustration. After all that, what I do is to add the final details in the illustration, such as glitter, background and other things. I love both drawing and making portraits.

Comienzo detallando el rostro, luego el cabello y por ultimo las zonas que menos resaltan en la ilustración. Luego de todo eso, lo que hago es agregar los detalles finales en la ilustración, como lo son los brillos, el fondo y demás cosas. Me encanta tanto dibujar y hacer retratos.
