Hello beautiful people! I hope you're all doing great and if you're not, you will be soon! Going through my folders of images in my computer, I found this card of Serpentine Soldier, which is a character from Splinterlands and I wanted to draw it to see how it looked.

Hola gente bonita! ¡Espero estén súper bien todos y si no lo están, pronto lo estarán! Revisando mis carpetas de imágenes en mi computadora, me encontré con esta carta de Serpentine Soldier, le cual es un personaje de Splinterlands y lo quise dibujar a ver que tal quedaba.

I started making the sketch in my sketchbook, because for me it is easier and more comfortable to structure it that way, I don't know why. When I have it ready, I pass it to Clip Studio Paint to start detailing and defining it and then start adding the color.

Comencé haciendo el boceto en mi cuaderno de dibujos, ya que para mi es mas fácil y cómodo estructurar el mismo de esa forma, no se por qué la verdad. Cuando lo tengo listo, lo que hago pasarlo al Clip Studio Paint para comenzar a detallarlo y definirlo para luego comenzar a agregar el color.

I took the color palette of the original character as a reference. There were only three main colors that I used to do the color work, so it wasn't very complicated to paint this drawing. I started adding the base color, then I went to add the other colors in the illustration and then start detailing everything.

Tomo como referencia la paleta de color del personaje original la verdad. Solo fueron tres colores principales que use para hacer el trabajo de color, así que no fue muy complicado pintar este dibujo. Comencé agregando el color base, luego me fui a agregar los demás colores en la ilustración para luego comenzar a detallar todo.

I'm adding darker colors in certain areas of the drawing, to add contrast. I'm adding the shadows and the lights all at once. To paint this illustration I didn't want to complicate it so much, so I kept it very simple.

Voy agregando colores mas oscuros en ciertas zonas del dibujo, para ir agregando el contraste. Voy agregando las sombras y las luces de una vez. Para pintar esta ilustración no me quise complicar tanto, asi que la trabaje muy sencilla.
