The Root from whence we came
Is hewn from the finest of rocks
Like chains linked so strong
And given to every child born
Beneath colours and cultures
More than races and creed
A connection not lost in the ocean of time
If we hold on so strong
And retrace our steps
From whence wilderness grows
From the wilting desert of hate
Back to our Roots again
From the sombre greys of the skies
From the hauling winds
And treacherous storms
From this living we live now
Where we drift into perilous paths
Back to our ancient songs of Love
Our Root is our paths destined
Where we come home to rest
And become the tree spreading its wings
From the ends of the Earth
