Some of you may have noticed recently that various poets in the group now have a cool new "Member" role.

Let's explain how to get this role and the benefits of it.

Supporting Our Poets

In the past I or one of the other mods have been voting on poets at 100%. When the voting power of this account falls too low, I've been giving preference to those who also support the other poets in our group, both by upvoting and commenting on their posts.

We are now starting to get enough poets in our group that I need to change this system.

Effective immediately, I am setting the default account vote at 80%. This might go down even more depending on available voting power.

Delegations Give Membership

In the past I have also asked for delegations to our group account (this one → @hive-161465). Your delegations help our group grow. But I didn't give anything for your delegations beyond my appreciation.

Going forward this also will change. From now on, anyone who delegates at least 10 Hive to us will receive the "Member" role. As of right now there is only one benefit to this role, beyond showing your support. That benefit is that anyone who has the "member" role will get a 100% vote.

Right now any delegation above 10 Hive will get you the "member" role. Depending on how this group grows in the future, this minimum amount may increase and/or I may have to introduce a tiered system in the future (that is, the size of your upvote will depend on how much you delegate) but for now anything above 10 will get you in.

I may add more benefits in time, such as member-only contests. Actually if you have any suggestions for perks for this member role, feel free to suggest them.
