Esta semana ha sido muy movida y dura para mí. Pero una actividad y otra, trabajo y las idas de energía eléctrica que son 3 veces al día entre 3 y 4 horas, ha sido una verdadera locura 😵💫 jajaja, pero aquí estamos, siguiendo adelante.
Las olimpiadas deportivas escolares son cada año y es una ley participar en ellas. Los niños se preparan durante semanas para este evento y los padres también. En mi caso estuve 3 semanas ensayando el Baile de las madres (que luego espero mostrarlo). Joaquín es el primero en celebrar las Olimpiadas, está es la segunda vez que él participa en una, pero la primera vez que la disfruta tanto.
Los padres nos organizamos por grado y decidimos llevar todo lo necesario para la barra, ir uniformados, llevar carteles, alquilar zanqueros y así tener la posibilidad de ganar algún premio en el evento de inauguración que se realiza. En nuestro caso, los niños llevaron sus uniformes del Ecuador, ya que era el país que representaba el grado de Joaquín, también llevaron una pulsera unisex del tricolor (hechas por mí), un zanquero, una mascota, 3 carteles y la niña deporte. Esto nos hizo ganar el premio a "Mejor equipo Uniformado".
Fuimos casi todos a acompañar a Joaquín, menos Amelie, ya que ha estado un poco enferma del estómago, así que ella se quedó con la abuela, además de esto, a ella no le gustan las olimpiadas, por la cantidad de personas que asiste. Padres, Abuelos, hermanos, tíos y amigos, son invitados a la inauguración para que apoyen a los niños y a sus equipos.
Joaquín bailó con su grado, aunque en casa lo hizo mejor, también estuvo en el desfile, cosa que el año pasado no hizo. Y en ta oportunidad Josué y yo entramos con él en el desfile. Un acto familiar y bonito, pero que también demanda muchos gastos 😅.

This week has been very busy and tough for me. With one activity after another, work, and the power outages that happen three times a day for 3 to 4 hours, it's been a real madness 😵💫 haha, but here we are, moving forward.
The school sports Olympics take place every year, and it's mandatory to participate in them. The children prepare for weeks for this event, and so do the parents. In my case, I spent three weeks rehearsing the Mother’s Dance (which I hope to show later). Joaquín is the first to celebrate the Olympics, this is the second time he participates in one, but the first time he truly enjoys it.
The parents organized ourselves by grade and decided to bring everything necessary for the cheering section, wear matching uniforms, bring banners, hire stilt walkers, and try to win a prize at the opening ceremony. In our case, the children wore their Ecuador uniforms since that was the country Joaquín’s grade was representing, and they also wore a unisex tricolor bracelet made by me, a stilt walker, a mascot, three banners, and the sports girl. This earned us the prize for "Best Uniformed Team."
Most of us went to support Joaquín, except for Amelie, since she’s been a little sick with stomach issues, so she stayed with her grandmother. Besides, she doesn’t like the Olympics due to the large number of people who attend. Parents, grandparents, siblings, uncles, and friends are invited to the opening ceremony to cheer for the kids and their teams.
Joaquín danced with his grade, although he did better at home, and he was also part of the parade, something he didn’t do last year. This time, Josué and I joined him in the parade. It was a lovely family event, but it also demands a lot of expenses 😅.
