The war between Ukraine and Russia is already 2 and a half years old and we still do not know how much longer it will last, when it started I felt very sad for weeks as if it were the only war the world is fighting, I hope it will be the last, but it is a utopia to think so, because as long as man exists, woman or man, I refer to the species not gender, there will always be discord and opposing interests, because we find it hard to understand ourselves, with more reason we find it hard to understand others.
Enemy in the woods is a documentary based on how the war is being conducted in its own terrain, from the Ukrainian point of view. All the images they show are real, where we can see the war with our own eyes without being present or fearing for our lives.

La guerra entre Ucrania y Rusia ya tiene 2 años y medio y aún no sabemos cuánto más durará, cuando inició, sentí mucha tristeza durante semanas como si se tratara de la única guerra que libra el mundo, ojalá sea la última, pero es una utopía pensar así, ya que mientras el hombre exista sea mujer u hombre, hago referencia a la especie no al género, siempre habrá discordias e intereses opuestos, porque nos cuesta entendernos a nosotros mismo, con más razón nos cuesta entender a los demás.
Enemy in the woods es un documental basado en cómo se está llevando la guerra en su propio terreno, desde el punto de vista ucraniano. Todas las imágenes que muestran son reales, donde podemos ver la guerra con nuestros propios ojos sin estar presentes ni temer por nuestra vida.
Plot
This documentary is nourished mainly by interviews with young people who are in the war, some say the reason why they are there among them is the love for defending their territory, others are sincerer and say that the economic reward is what keeps them in the war; knowing that they were paid for risking their lives surprised me I did not know that they received a remuneration that for some is regular and others satisfies them, because with that money they can help their families, remember that living in a country at war must be very expensive and more in Ukraine where the winter is hellish.
The cold weather, frost and snow is what we can see during the filming in natural areas, their environment is the forest dyed white and red, snow and blood, images obtained from the same cameras that the soldiers have, in addition to the views offered by the drones, which have become the perfect allies for combat, it is practically a fight between the robot that is the drone and the human, so that you understand me better I invite you to watch the documentary.
While I was watching, my vision of war and the method of survival that real attacks show, where some live and others die and others survive with their mutilated bodies and scars that never heal.

Este documental se nutre principalmente de entrevistas a los jóvenes que están en la guerra, algunos dicen el motivo por el que están allí entre ellos está el amor por defender su territorio, otros son más sinceros y dicen que la recompensa económica es lo que los mantiene en la guerra; saber que les pagaban por arriesgar su vida me sorprendió desconocía que recibían una remuneración que para unos es regular y otros les satisface, ya que con ese dinero pueden ayudar a sus familiares, recuerden que vivir en un país en guerra debe ser muy costoso y más en Ucrania donde el invierno es infernal.El clima frío, las heladas y la nieve es lo podemos ver durante la filmación en las zonas naturales, su ambiente es el bosque teñido de blanco y rojo, nieve y sangre, imágenes obtenidas de las mismas cámaras que poseen los soldados, además de las vistas que ofrecen los drones, que se han convertido en los aliados perfectos para el combate, prácticamente es una lucha entre el robot que es el dron y el humano, para que me entiendas mejor te invito a ver el documental.
Mientras veía, se me expandió un poco la visión sobre la guerra y el método de sobrevivencia que muestran ataques reales, donde unos viven y otros mueren y otros sobreviven con sus cuerpos mutilados y cicatrices que no sanarán jamás.
Opinion
It is very sad to see that, those who are fighting are children, young people who are barely of age, some 19 or 20 years old, they miss their families and their girlfriends, they cry, they suffer, they do not want to kill anyone, but they must do it because if not they will be the ones killed. They look tender and innocent, also with after-effects of traumas that don't let them sleep well anymore. Watching this documentary made me sad and made me cry. When I started watching it, I didn't know that it was about the same war zone and real images.
Not only Ukrainian soldiers are children, but also Russian soldiers. Some begged for mercy and their lives were spared, they surrendered and became prisoners of the Ukrainians. Without understanding their languages, they were able to save themselves just by asking for peace; I imagine that on the other side it also happens.
Among the interviewees there is a woman, who is the doctor of the soldiers, when I saw her I felt some relief for my gender and I thank her for the representation, it already seemed strange to me that there was no woman, well this young woman who is in charge of giving them first aid and I do not doubt that even saving their lives, her real profession is veterinarian! 😱😆 It's not that she wanted to take on such a responsibility, but it was what she got, and she thought that if she helps the animals the men deserve it too.
It is a good documentary, it is not loaded with psychological stress, nor drama in excess, everything is balanced in its measure, there are even moments of humour and distraction.

Opinión
Es muy triste ver que, los que están luchando son niños, jóvenes que apenas tienen la mayoría de edad, algunos 19 o 20 años, extrañan a sus familias y a sus novias, lloran, sufren, no quieren matar a nadie, pero deben hacerlo porque si no serán ellos los muertos. Se ven tiernos e inocentes, también con secuelas de traumas que ya no los dejan dormir bien. Mirar este documental me puso triste y me hizo llorar. Cuando empecé a verlo, no sabía que trataba de la misma zona de guerra y de imágenes reales.No solo los soldados de Ucrania son niños, sino también los de Rusia. Algunos pidieron clemencia y les perdonaron la vida, se rindieron y pasaron a ser presos de los ucranianos. Sin entender sus idiomas, pudieron salvarse con solo pedir paz; me imagino que del otro lado también ocurre.
Entre los entrevistados hay una mujer, que es la doctora de los soldados, cuando la vi sentí algo de alivio por mi género y le agradezco la representación, ya me parecía raro que no hubiera ninguna mujer, bueno esta joven que es la encargada de darle los primeros auxilios y no dudo que hasta salvarles la vida, su verdadera profesión es la ¡veterinaria! 😱😆 No es que ella quisiera asumir tal responsabilidad, sino que fue lo que le tocó y pensó que si ayuda a los animales los hombres también se lo merecen.
Es un buen documental, no está cargado de estrés psicológico, ni drama en exceso, todo está equilibrado en su medida, incluso hay momentos para el humor y la distracción.
