My Rebellion Buying Strategy: Focus on Water Cards
In my previous two posts, I decided and shared my buying strategy for the Rebellion set and began to build the list of cards of the Rebellion set that I would like to add to my card collection starting with the neutral element cards.
In today's post my focus is on the Water element cards of the Rebellion set that I would like to have in my card collection.
Before the release of the Rebellion set I used to play in the Gold+ leagues of the Modern Format from the beginning of the season until the end of the season.
In the current season I am for the first time in many seasons playing in the Silver leagues of the Modern Format and I am finding some difficulty getting back into the Gold leagues because it has been a long time since I played in the Silver leagues where my cards have playing stats limited by the league cap.
Now that I can no longer use my Untamed cards in Modern Format if I want to continue playing stably in Modern Format's Gold+ leagues I have to increase the battle strength of my card collection by adding Rebellion cards that are more useful in battle and at the same time have a cost that is within my reach.
The strategy I follow at this stage is:
- as long as the estimated value of a Rebellion pack is greater than the purchase price I prefer to buy packs instead of cards from the market.
- I open all the packs I purchase and sell all the Gold cards and all the cards I would rarely use in game battles.
To date I have purchased 160 Rebellion packs in which I have found 800 Rebellion cards.
I also sold many Rebellion cards and still have many for sale.
Whenever I reach a sufficient amount of DEC to purchase at least 20 Rebellion packs I will continue to repeat my strategy of buying packs and selling cards until I have a collection of cards that will allow me to play stably in Modern Format's Gold+ leagues from the beginning to the end of Splinterlands seasons.
In the image below you can see the Neutral cards of the Rebellion set that I like best and shared in a previous post of mine.
At the top of my wish list is Mantaroth level 3 which, however, has a fairly high cost: $235.97
Today I continued studying Rebellion cards to choose my other future purchase/upgrade targets and chose to focus on Water element cards because it is one of my favorite elements.
Regarding the Water element summoners in the Rebellion set, I would like to add to Kelya Frendul (level 8), Pembrook Nymph (level 6) and Possibilus The Wise (level 3) the summoners:
- Zeddica level 8
- Prunda Underwesch of level 8.
On the other hand, buying and upgrading the Prophet Rosa summoner is not my priority at the moment because it could only be useful to me in battles that have precise battle rules such as the Target Practice battle rule.
I prefer to purchase first the summoners that are more likely to be used more frequently in battle, and the Zeddica and Prunda Underwesch summoners broaden the range of my game choices because they allow the use of three-element cards considering also neutral cards instead of the cards of the usual two elements.
To view all the cards in the Rebellion set that belong to the Water element, I used the CARDS section of the useful Splintercards site.
There are 12 monster cards of the Water element in the Rebellion set.
I used the CARDS section of Splintercards to get a quick and compact first view of all the Water element cards in the Rebellion set with maximum stats.
To choose my purchase targets I like to use the CARDS BY LEAGUE CAP feature that allows me to see the cards with the maximum stats that can be used in the different leagues.
In fact, my game goal is to play stably in the Gold leagues of Modern Format and so I am interested in having the cards with the maximum level usable in the Gold leagues.
Thanks to Splintercards I can quickly see the maximum stats of each card in the Rebellion set usable in the Gold leagues I generally play in.
Among the water element cards of common rarity in the Rebellion set there are interesting cards but none of these cards would allow me to get a big increase in my win rate because I have Chaos Legion cards that have similar or better stats.
For example instead of Chaos Rear Guard of the Rebellion set I can almost always use Cruel Sethropod of the Chaos Legion set, which even though it does not have the Shield ability has one more attack point and costs one less mana point and still plays well in the first position in battles that have the Little League battle rule.
The card that could be most useful to me among the common cards is Sultry Barmaid of level 8 that I could use in battles that have the Target Practice and/or Heavy Hitters rulesets.
Sultry Barmaid of level 8 also has good speed (4) which would become 5 points with the Keyla Frendul summoner and also has the Ambush ability.
I have identified another possible upgrade target of mine that I can add to my list: Sultry Barmaid level 8.
In my collection I have Sultry Barmaid level 3 + 5 BCX and to upgrade to level 8 I would have to buy 201 more BCX and spend $26.15 but it is not my priority purchase at the moment.
In the Rebellion set there are 4 cards of the water rare element and I like all of them although not all of them will be my short-term purchase goals.
The rare card that would add more utility and more variety to my battle strategies is Anasth Soothsaver of level 6.
I was able to upgrade to level 2 but my upgrade goal is obviously level 6
To upgrade to level 6 I would have to buy another 54 BCX and would have to spend $94.84.
Among the Epic cards, my favorite is Captain Fellblade of level 5.
Captain Fellblade has 2 attacks (melee + magic), a high speed (6) and a good number of life points (8).
A strong card that plays well in prensence of many rulesets!
Unfortunately, the price is very high and level 5 has a cost of $200.
In my collection I have 2 BCX of Captain Fellblade and although I don't think I will be able to upgrade to level 5 in the short term I certainly have identified another upgrade goal of mine.
There are only 2 legendary water element cards in the Rebellion set and I really like both of them: Daarg Deadblast and Endura Brune.
I would especially like to have Daarg Deadblast of level 3 in my collection, which I would use very often in battle.
The Weapons Training ability would allow me to add a magic attack to very strong but attack-less cards such as BAAKJIRA and the Triage ability is always very useful.
I was lucky to find two copies of Daarg Deadblast in the packs I opened and I hope to soon be able to get this card that I really like to at least level 2.
For level 3 I would have to buy another 4 BCX and would have to spend $66.11.
Final Considerations
After the Rebellion card analysis I did today, my wish list has become bigger.
In my next post I will share my purchase/upgrade goals related to Rebellion cards from other elements.
I continue to set growth goals on Splinterlands, hope that bots will be eliminated completely from Splinterlands, continue to increase the battle strength of my usable card collection in Modern Format where there are no bots, and look forward with much excitement to the fully playable versions of Genesis League Soccer and Soulkeep that will expand the Splinterlands ecosystem

La mia strategia di acquisto per le carte del set Rebellion: Focus sulle Carte dell'elemento Water
Nei miei due precedenti post ho deciso e condiviso la mia strategia di acquisto per il set Rebellion e ho iniziato a costruire la lista delle carte del set Rebellion che mi piacerebbe aggiungere alla mia collezione di carte partendo dalle carte dell'elemento neutrale.
Nel post di oggi il mio focus è sulle carte dell'elemento Water del set Rebellion che mi piacerebbe avere nella mia collezione di carte.
Prima del rilascio del set Rebellion ero abituato a giocare nelle leghe Gold+ del Modern Format dall'inizio della stagione fino alla fine della stagione.
Nella stagione in corso mi trovo per la prima volta dopo tante stagioni a giocare nelle leghe Silver del Modern Format e sto trovando qualche difficoltà a rientrare nelle leghe Gold perchè è passato molto tempo da quando giocavo nelle leghe Silver dove le mie carte hanno statistiche di gioco limitate dal cap della lega.
Adesso che non posso più utilizzare le mie carte Untamed nel Modern Format se voglio continuare a giocare stabilmente nelle leghe Gold+ del Modern Format devo aumentare la forza in battaglia della mia collezione di carte aggiungendo le carte Rebellion più utili in battaglia e che allo stesso tempo hanno un costo che è alla mia portata.
La strategia che seguo in questa fase è:
- fin quando il valore stimato di un pacco Rebellion è maggiore del prezzo di acquisto preferisco acquistare i pacchi invece delle carte dal mercato.
- apro tutti i pacchi che acquisto e vendo tutte le carte Gold e tutte le carte che utilizzerei raramente nelle battaglie di gioco.
Fino ad oggi ho acquistato 160 pacchi Rebellion nei quali ho trovato 800 carte Rebellion.
Ho venduto anche molte carte Rebellion e ne ho ancora molte in vendita.
Ogni volta che raggiungerò un quantitativo di DEC sufficiente ad acquistare almeno 20 pacchi Rebellion continuerò a ripetere la mia strategia di acquisto di pacchi e vendita di carte fino a quando non avrò una collezione di carte che mi permetterà di giocare stabilmente nelle leghe Gold+ del Modern Format dall'inizio alla fine delle stagioni di Splinterlands.
Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere le carte Neutrali del set Rebellion che mi piacciono di più e che ho condiviso in un mio precedente post.
In cima alla mia lista dei desideri c'è Mantaroth di livello 3 che però ha un costo abbastanza alto: 235.97$
Oggi ho continuato a studiare le carte Rebellion per scegliere altri miei obiettivo di acquisto/upgrade futuri e ho scelto di focalizzarmi sulle carte dell'elemento Water perchè è uno dei miei elementi preferiti.
Per quanto riguarda gli evocatori dell'elemento Water del set Rebellion mi piacerebbe affiancare a Kelya Frendul (livello 8), Pembrook Nymph (livello 6) e Possibilus The Wise (livello 3) gli evocatori:
- Zeddica di livello 8
- Prunda Underwesch di livello 8.
Al momento non è una mia priorità l'acquisto e l'upgrade dell'evocatore Prophet Rosa perchè mi potrebbe essere utile solo in battaglie che hanno precise regole di battaglia come ad esempio la regola di battaglia Target Practice.
Meglio acquistare per primi gli evocatori che hanno maggiore possibilità di essere utilizzati con maggiore frequenza in battaglia e gli evocatori Zeddica e Prunda Underwesch ampliano il ventaglio delle mie scelte di gioco perchè permettono di utilizzare le carte di tre elementi considerando anche le carte neutrali invece delle carte degli usuali due elementi.
Per visualizzare tutte le carte del set Rebellion che appartengono all'elemento Water ho utilizzato la sezione CARDS dell'utile sito Splintercards.
Nel set Rebellion ci sono 12 carte mostro dell'elemento Acqua
Ho utilizzato la sezione CARDS di Splintercards per avere una prima visione veloce e compatta di tutte le carte dell'elemento Acqua del set Rebellion con le statistiche massime.
Per scegliere i miei obiettivi di acquisto mi piace utilizzare la funzionalità CARDS BY LEAGUE CAP che mi permette di vedere le carte con le statistiche massime utilizzabili nelle diverse leghe.
Infatti il mio obiettivo di gioco è giocare stabilmente nelle leghe Gold del Modern Format e quindi mi interessa avere le carte con il livello massimo utilizzabile nelle leghe Gold.
Grazie a Splintercards posso vedere velocemente le statistiche massime di ogni carta del set Rebellion utilizzabile nelle leghe Gold in cui generalmente gioco.
Tra le carte dell'elemento acqua di rarità comune del set Rebellion ci sono carte interessanti ma nessuna di queste carte mi permetterebbe di ottenere un grande aumento del mio win rate perchè ho carte Chaos Legion che hanno statistiche simili o migliori.
Ad esempio al posto di Chaos Rear Guard del set Rebellion posso quasi sempre utilizzare Cruel Sethropod del set Chaos Legion che anche se non ha l'abilità Shield ha un punto di attacco in più e costa un punto di mana in meno e gioca comunque bene in prima posizione nelle battaglie che hanno la regola di battaglia Little League.
La carta che mi potrebbe essere più utile tra le carte comuni è Sultry Barmaid di livello 8 che potrei utilizzare nelle battaglie che hanno le rulesets Target Practice e/o Heavy Hitters.
Sultry Barmaid di livello 8 ha inoltre una buona velocità (4) che diventerebbe di 5 punti con l'evocatore Keyla Frendul e ha anche l'abilità Ambush.
Ho individuato un altro mio possibile obiettivo di upgrade che posso aggiungere alla mia lista: Sultry Barmaid di livello 8
Nella mia collezione ho Sultry Barmaid di livello 3 + 5 BCX e per fare l'upgrade al livello 8 dovrei acquistare altri 201 BCX e spendere 26.15$ ma non è un mio acquisto prioritario al momento.
Nel set Rebellion ci sono 4 carte dell'elemento water rare e mi piacciono tutte anche se non tutte saranno miei obiettivi di acquisto di breve termine.
La carta rara che aggiungerebbe più utilità e più varietà alle mie strategie di battaglia è Anasth Soothsaver di livello 6.
Sono riuscito a fare l'upgrade al livello 2 ma il mio obiettivo di upgrade è ovviamente il livello 6
Per fare l'upgrade al livello 6 dovrei acquistare altri 54 BCX e dovrei spendere 94.84$.
Tra le carte Epiche la mia preferita è Captain Fellblade di livello 5.
Captain Fellblade ha 2 attacchi (da mischia + magico), una velocità alta (6) e un buon numero di punti vita (8).
Una carta forte che gioca bene in prensenza di molte rulesets!
Purtroppo il prezzo è molto alto e il livello 5 ha un costo di 200$.
Nella mia collezione ho 2 BCX di Captain Fellblade e anche se non penso di riuscire a fare l'upgrade al livello 5 nel breve termine sicuramente ho individuato un altro mio obiettivo di upgrade.
Nel set Rebellion ci sono solo 2 carte dell'elemento acqua leggendarie e mi piacciono molto entrambe: Daarg Deadblast e Endura Brune.
In particolare mi piacerebbe avere nella mia collezione Daarg Deadblast di livello 3 che utilizzerei molto spesso in battaglia.
L'abilità Weapons Training mi permetterebbe di aggiungere un attacco magico a carte molto forti ma senza attacco come ad esempio BAAKJIRA e l'abilità Triage è sempre molto utile.
Sono stato fortunato a trovare due copie di Daarg Deadblast nei pacchi che ho aperto e spero di riuscire presto a portare almeno al livello 2 questa carta che mi piace molto.
Per il livello 3 dovrei acquistare altri 4 BCX e dovrei spendere 66.11$.
Considerazioni Finali
Dopo l'analisi delle carte Rebellion che ho fatto oggi la mia lista dei desideri è diventata più grande.
Nel mio prossimo post condividerò i miei obiettivi di acquisto/upgrade relativi alle carte Rebellion degli altri elementi.
Io continuo a pormi obiettivi di crescita su Splinterlands, spero che i bots siano eliminati completamente da Splinterlands, continuo ad aumentare la forza in battaglia della mia collezione di carte utilizzabile nel Modern Format dove non ci sono i bots e aspetto con molta eccitazione le versioni completamente giocabili di Genesis League Soccer e Soulkeep che espanderanno l'ecosistema di Splinterlands
