Greetings to all Hivian, I got to know about this community today while making some search. I must say,having gone through the community rules, this community is a coodinated. I have also read some authors' stories and I must say we have terrific writers in here. Also, Members adherence to rules make it even more fun to be part of. I'm happy to be here and I believe my being here will yeild an impact.
MY ENTRY TO THE DECEMBER CONTEST
No year passes in Eziala community without the villagers having to celebrate for the end of the year and crossing over to the new year.Ezila is known to be an autonomous community with lots of influential men and women. It's usually the talk of other neighboring communities.
For the Eziala people, this celebration is more like a ritual to them, they see it to be pleasing to their god who will through their celebration usher them into the new season in good health, happiness and more yield than the year they are celebrating.
It's the eleventh month and king Ikezinachi has assembled his Ndi Ichie (kingsmen) to organize and plan how this great anticipating occasion will come out successfully.
"We are expecting all those living in the diaspora to be coming home soon, aliens are coming to Eziala to Grace this occasion, I want it to come out better than other years". the king said, hitting his chieftaincy staff firmly on the tiled floor.
Ichie Ezenna, the eldest in the cabinet responded
"This round table is the body that makes things happen, leave the work for us and relax Eze, we will make you proud".
"Lastly, Mazzi Uzo, make sure on that day, no neighboring communities will be allowed to drive past our road, everyone is to walk from their home to the palace, no passing, leaving or coming into the village on that day". The king said with a strong reminder boldly written on his face.
"My king , leave my work for me. Last year I made an announcement around the whole neighboring villagers and they adhered because they knew the consequences. I will begin another notice right after this meeting". Mazi Uzo assured the king.
After the meeting they all had glasses of palm wine and shook the king accompanied with praises and they departed to their different homes.

Flora, Mama T and Mrs. Headmaster are best friends who are the talk of the community in Umuchi village. They never adhere to instructions. They are stubborn and gossip. They give timely news spiced up with fake details.
Mrs headmaster is a wife to a school proprietor and villagers twisted and gave her Mrs headmaster. Mrs. Headmaster is the hottie of Umuchi village, she does low grade make-up which they fancy a lot. She got to meet lots of people because of this business and that's how the gossiping ministry expanded.
The three musketeers were sitting in Mama T's shop. Mama T is a tailor and she does so well. Mama T began telling them about a hot wedding that will be taking place in the Eastern part of the Village. Flora and Mrs headmaster got super excited and promised to join their friend to the party. They gave Mama T money to buy the AsoEbi for them which she collected along with the money for sewing.
EZIALA COMMUNITY All those living in diasporas are all back , everyone presenting their gift donation to support the event. Lots of cows, goats and chickens were slaughtered . Different delicacies along with Continental dishes were prepared, and different wines were available.
It's the D day, the DJ is ready, all groups to make the event worthwhile were set. This occasion is to make the end of the year yam festival and offer sacrifices to the gods for another bountiful year. All routes leading to other communities were blocked as Eziala believes that any car that passes during the celebration has smashed and crushed all invisible spirits celebrating and gracing the event.
The three musketeers who were all set and dressed in their beautiful Aso Ebi have hired a taxi to take them to where lastest wedding ceremony is happening. The obstacle for these three beautiful women was how to get to the community, the only way to pass through was Eziala community and it's been blocked.
They stubbornly paid deaf ears to all the warnings and decided to sneak out at night when all the guards would be asleep. They collided with the drivers who promised to use the root that would lead them to the wedding safely.. Just when the celebration was on, they succeeded in unblocking the road. Just at the verge of starting the car, a black goat appeared and stood firmly on the road, blocking their car from moving forward. The driver who forgot they were on a secret mission began hooting his horn aggressively which drew the attention of the guards.
They caught and locked them in the dungeon until the next day, the Umuchi king and the husbands of the hostages were summoned. After the judgment, the women were to appeal to the gods with lists of items, sleep in the shrine until there is evidence that their sacrifices is pleasing to the god of Ezila community, sweep and tidy all the surroundings where the event took place before they could return to Umuchi community.
