The Company We Steep
Mena chuckled and tucked a loose auburn wave that had come loose from her updo behind her ear. She slammed her navy blue Victorian boot down on the accelerator and felt mischievous glee flow from her steampunk-inspired corseted blouse all the way down through her gunmetal paisley skirted form. -@generikat

The Incarnation
He looks around to make sure that he is not dreaming or that he is a victim of the effect of some new generation of drugs that are absorbed through the skin and used by some of the modern antisocials whose territory is the subway stations. -@joseph1956

Poor Retirement
Silence reigned for two minutes. No one touched the muffins or the coffee. The room was ideal for the tension being harvested, not even the bustle of the street entered, and the whiteness of the walls with their baroque art paintings added to the intrigue. -@ricardo993

Mystery of the Creak
A creak again. She peered intently into the dark space where the staircase leads to the attic, hoping to see whatever was behind the creaks. Goosebumps grew and spread all over her skin. Flashes of horror scenes in some movies she had watched flipped through her mind. -@kemmyb

She sighed as the wind caught her long skirt and pulled at her hair. -@iamsmaller

Tea-Timey Recipe
Then, there came the sound of multiple claps from supposed dead Mr Douglas. Steve stood up immediately while his phone fell to the ground. Behold, it was his father in the flesh with Joe by his side and three police officers. Steve broke out in cold sweat and said, "but I thought I killed you. How are you alive?!" -@esther-emmanuel
Wanting to have it all, the son is left with nothing.
You do a good job of characterising the son's angry character. -@theinkwell
