Es scheint der große Ausverkauf steht bevor.
In den letzten Jahren explodierten die Grundstückspreise an der portugiesischen Westküste, in geradezu schwindelerregende Höhen.
Wie mir ein Freund der im Immobilienhandel tätig ist zu berichten wusste, schreckt dieser Umstand die Käufer aber keineswegs ab. Es wird alles verkauft was reinkommt und das in kürzester Zeit, selbst wenn die Immobilie in der tiefsten Pampa liegt, in der noch nicht einmal Strom und Wasser fließen.
Liegt wohl daran, das es hier bald gar nichts mehr zu kaufen gibt.
Ungeachtet dessen machen sich immer mehr Immobilien Händler breit und stürzen sich wie die Geier, auf das was noch zu holen ist.
Eine beängstigende Entwicklung nimmt ihren Lauf und das Gesamtbild der Gegend verändert sich zusehends, sind es doch meistens ältere Leute, oder Yuppies mit viel Geld, die sich hier ein Häuschen kaufen.
Viele nutzen es nur in den Ferien, andere zum Überwintern und Einige wollen hier gemütlich und entspannt ihren Lebensabend verbringen, was in den meisten Fällen, aus verschiedenen Gründen nicht klappt.
Wo früher Eselskarren oder Traktoren das Straßenbild bestimmten, fahren heute immer mehr schicke, fette SUV´s und selbst Protz Karren wie Porsche und Ferrari umher, auch wenn die hiesigen Straßen mit ihren tiefen Schlaglöchern, dafür nicht unbedingt geeignet sind.
Auch das aus alten Bauernhäusern plötzlich gewaltige Villen entstehen, ist ungewohnt.
Ein merkwürdiger Anblick.

Also that from old farmhouses suddenly enormous villas arise, is unusual.
A strange sight.
Auch mein heutiges Kunstwerk, welches ich anlässlich der aktuellen LMAC CHALLENGE kreierte, erscheint auf den ersten Blick vielleicht etwas merkwürdig.
Das hält mich aber nicht davon ab, es ins Rennen um den Kunstpreis von @shaka´s wunderbaren Contest zu schicken.
Also, my today's work of art, which I created on the occasion of the current LMAC CHALLENGE, appears at first sight perhaps a little strange.
But that doesn't stop me from entering it in the running for the art prize of @shaka's wonderful contest.

Und das war es auch schon wieder fast für heute.
Allerdings bat mich mein Schüler @mister.reatard, auch ein Bild von Ihm ins Programm zu nehmen. Der gute Mann pausiert diese Woche und verzichtete auf die offizielle Teilnahme am Wettbewerb, wollte aber trotzdem zeigen, das er nicht ganz untätig war.
Diesen Gefallen tue ich ihm gerne.
And that was almost it again for today.
However, my student @mister.reatard asked me to include a picture of him in the program. The good man breaks this week and renounced the official participation in the competition, but still wanted to show that he was not completely idle.
I am happy to do him this favor.
