Shadow Hunters 342 | Parking Spot

Time for some shadow hunting.

It's a rainy day today here at our place in the Philippines, as it also was yesterday. We've been here for over a week now, and it's been quite hectic. As I found some slack time today, let me share a bit of sun that we had in Abu Dhabi a few days before we left.

So here are some photos for this week's Shadow Hunters.

I was about to get my car at the parking lot and despite the bright, hot day, I decided to take a picture of this line of trees -- still mesmerized at how they could survive the scorching summer heat.

The shadows they produce at this time of the day could provide an eenie, tiny bit of respite to birds and yes, people like me who pass by.

I passed by a couple of guys working on this marker of Umm Al Emarat Park. I'm not sure if it was just random maintenance or if they were meant to do something new with it.

This is a free parking spot (for now -- the city finds time to expand the paid parking spaces always!) and there are a few abandoned cars here, and some odd ones, too!

Like, what is this small ATV doing here?! It looks like it's been here for a while although this was my first time seeing it here.

More random stuff around, like this mop bucket! Hmmm, what is a mop bucket doing in a parking lot? It must be from a nearby cafe that used to operate here.

Okay, that's about it from me for this edition of the Shadow Hunters. I hope you all are having a great weekend so far!
