A Reflection Found by Chance - Reflection Hunters Contest ~ Round 189

When we think of city transportation, we usually imagine buses, trains, or cabs. But since I live in the Philippines, tricycles (motorcycles with a sidecar) are also a common mode of transport.

Who would have thought, though, that there’s a city in Metro Manila where you can ride a small boat to cross over to the neighboring city faster and avoid traffic?

That’s exactly what I did earlier. I took a boat across to our neighboring city, with only a river separating us.

While waiting for the boatman to return from the other side, a docked ship caught my attention. It stood out because it was farther from the other ships being built in the area and was much larger, which caught my interest, so I decided to take a picture.

At first, I didn’t notice its reflection on the water, my eyes were solely focused on the ship. To get a lower angle shot, I flipped my phone upside down so the camera lens would be closer to the ground. That’s when I saw its reflection in the water.

I suddenly remembered the Reflection Hunters challenge and thought I might be too late to post because I’ve been busy with affiliate marketing and haven’t been active online much lately.

To be honest, I had forgotten that I even captured that photo until I remembered it tonight.

I hope you like the reflection shot I took of this docked ship. Who would have thought that during my boat ride earlier, I’d stumble upon such an interesting photo opportunity?
