Quechua, Tarispay Pacha...time to find ourselves.

"We have a saying in Quechua, Tarispay Pacha..."

Essential Material To Understand The Fall

which means the time to find ourselves. We are in this reality of experience to recognize our entire being in our heavy energies (sorrows and regrets), our gifts, and the Essence of where we originated. According to our ancestors, our Father is the Sun, so we are the Children of the Sun." -Anotonio Andean Priest -- Andean Awakening

What happens when we betray life for empty promises?

When we are young, energetic and full of imagination we posses seemingly limitless energy, curiosity and creativity. Gradually as we develop into socially conditioned adults the inborn free-form essence of being is eroded by the dichotomy of fear & control. The social maze of public education & meaningless jobs obfuscate our inner-world with promises of material security and comfortable happiness.

Cultural narratives which serve the abstracted "general good," & "the rule of law," act as justifiable barriers which "protect & serve" the community. Superficially, absolving oneself of the responsibility of individuation, perseverance & self-actualization keeps the proverbial barbarians away. The expectations of peace, prosperity and purpose as promised by governments, religions and demagogues coincidentally create more conflict, uncertainty and division. The superficial material prosperity of yesteryear has devolved into a protracted uncertain future. In this transition we are presented with a critical opportunity: time.

Turning away from the path to self-actualization in a society that values self-absorption in material pleasures inevitably results in depression. Individuals fearful of actualizing their authentic potential are presented with a variety of roles to play...as long as it serves the State, the economy, and cultural norms.

This open-air maze is replete with wolves in sheep clothing playing the role of friend, lover and well-wisher. If an individual suffocates, subdues & sublimates his own passions & dreams for material success -- then how likely are they to support authentic freedom? If an individual betrays his dreams for material success, then what prevents them from betraying Others?

The heroic challenge of becoming an authentic Self against the odds of socio-politico-economic pressures is a life-long struggle. To take this path is to accept the responsibility of creating an essence/soul/self against a tide of corruption without expectations. To those who seek wealth without earning wisdom or persevering in the face of prolong suffering will only find self-abnegation.

An entire lifetime embracing erroneous beliefs results in faded passions & burned dreams. Reclaiming oneself from the comforts of belief, habit and the pleasure of distractions presents us with the challenge of creating peace in the present moment without attachments. The fear of being alone, the fear of being wrong...the fear of being --these phantoms preclude the expansion of awareness.

All paths lead to a grave...but when you lay awake at night with only your thoughts, memories and dreams --what will you say? What do you see reflected within your darkness? Do you see regret? Do you see time passing you by?
