Here my entry for the CCC's Street Art Contest #71 with my favorite artist for this contest Monk.E. 3rd time I use one of his works but as they're all more beautiful than each other, why I will change... 😀 In addition, it's a project with a Senegalese artist Docta to create a video for the 11th Festigraff in Dakar, Senegal
Voici mon entrée pour la 71ème édition du CCC's Street Art Contest avec mon artiste préféré pour ce concours Monk.E. 3ème fois que j'utilise une de ses œuvres mais comme elles sont toutes plus superbes les unes que les autres, pourquoi je me priverai… 😀 En plus, il s'agit d'un projet avec un artiste sénégalais Docta pour créer une vidéo pour le 11ème Festigraff à Dakar au Sénégal :

The biography hasn't changed much since the last post. Monk.E is a Canadian street-artist and musician, he defines himself as an Alchimiographist. He started graffiti with the K6A crew. Since Monk.E imposes his artistic vision all around the world in music and painting.
La biographie n'a pas trop changé depuis le dernier post. Monk.E est un artiste et musicien Hip-Hop canadien se définissant lui-même comme un Alchimiographiste (j'aime beaucoup le terme). Il commença le graffiti en fondant le collectif K6A. Depuis Monk.E a partagé sa vision artistique partout dans le monde.
This is the portrait of the musician Ilam (see the clip below and even listen to it while reading this post). He came to Canada to make music and that with success, revelation Radio-Canada in 2016 then best album of the year at Gamiq in 2020. Beautiful tribute.
Il s'agit du portrait du musicien Ilam (voir le clip plus bas et même l'écouter en lisant ce post). Il est venu au Canada pour faire de la musique et cela avec beaucoup de succès, révélation Radio-Canada en 2016 puis meilleure album de l’année au Gamiq en 2020. Très bel hommage.
