As I said on my last post about Labrona, today it's Waxhead's turn, a prolific artist too with his very special world... During the lockdown, he became an expert in social distancing (the famous two meters), perfect to stand in line in front of the shops on boulevard Saint Laurent.
For Ripples's ice cream (refreshing for those hot days)
First I wanted to write a post about Waxhead and his friend Cryote but too many murals, works... all around Montreal. So I decided to divide it into several posts. I'll try to space them out so you don't get indigestion.
WHERE
Saint Laurent boulevard, Montreal, Canada.

WHO
Born in Toronto, Waxhead is street-artist, painter, and creature creator (as he says) now based in Montreal since 2012. His style is quite unique, very coloured and detailed .
Fishes for a drugstore on Des Pins avenue
His nickname comes from when he painted a dripping head, a wax head.
You often find his works mixed with those of Cryote on many walls, doors in Montreal.

WHEN
- 2020.
Small leaves for the Santropol, a coffee shop on Duluth Street (I think the contract was less interesting financially 😀)
