De un tiempito para acá les he estado compartiendo todos los detalles de mi experiencia trabajando en una fiesta de 15 años.
Pinté un cuadro para que los invitados pudieran colocar en él su huella y esto quedaría como el recuerdo de un día súper especial tanto para la pequeña como para su familia.
Me pidieron que pintara el castillo de Rapunzel ya que era la temática de la celebración y yo luego de varias horas trabajando logré el resultado ideal, por cierto, aún les debo lo que fue todo el proceso para lograr ese resultado.
La mamá de la cumpleañera nos pagó algo extra para que brindaramos el servicio y estuviéramos presentes durante la celebración. Esto fue algo súper simbólico pues solamente alcanzó para cubrir los gastos de transporte y apenas quedaron unas pocas ganancias.
Igual estábamos felices porque era algo completamente nuevo y además nos serviría para documentar y luego mostrar este servicio.

Luego de que la cumpleañera hiciera su entrada y presentación ante sus invitados, se fueron al centro del escenario donde le estuvieron tomando algunas fotos.
Pasaron los meseros con algunas copas de champagne directo hacia esa zona, pues el brindis sería solamente entre los familiares más cercanos.
Comenzó a sonar un vals y la animadora de la fiesta dijo unas palabras especiales para luego hacer pasar al centro del escenario a su mamá.
Normalmente suele ser el papá que baila con la quinceañera y los hombres presentes, bueno así lo tenía entendido yo, pero en esta ocasión pasó de primera su mamá, luego la pareja de ella y así siguieron abuelos, tíos, amigas, y casi cualquier persona importante que hubiera por ahí.

Ya comenzaban a doler un poco los pies, darnos frío y sobre todo hambre.
En todo ese momento no comimos nada, pues no nos ofrecieron. Eso no iba incluído dentro del servicio pero definitivamente hay que hacerlo pues uno se va a cenar y nos demoramos en todo unas dos horas.
Yo salí de casa como a las 3 de la tarde y no había comido más nada desde el almuerzo.
El cuadro iba súper bien ya estábamos a punto de terminar aunque no sabíamos exactamente cuántas personas faltaban por llegar.

El cuadro estaba casi listo, solo faltaban la huella de la cumpleañera y la de 4 invitados según me había dicho la mamá de la niña.
Habían apagado las luces y la música sonaba bastante fuerte. A mi se me ocurrió entonces para poder aguantar un poco más pedir un vaso con agua. La barra dónde las servían estaba cerca de nuestro puesto asignado.
Era curioso porque hasta las botellitas de agua estaban personalizadas con el tema de la fiesta. Super curiosa la cosa 😅

Después que la quinceañera pintara su huella en el cuadro y llegaran los invitados que faltaban, estábamos listas para irnos.
Definitivamente fue una experiencia diferente, no iba a una fiesta de 15 años desde que tenía 15, un poco menos de la mitad se años que tengo jajaja.
Las cosas han cambiado mucho con los años pero estás son tradiciones que se mantienen intactas. Las personas siguen celebrando este paso de sus pequeñas de la niñez a la juventud. Porque adultas no son, siguen siendo niñas en proceso de hacerse mujeres.
After the quinceañera painted her footprint on the picture and the missing guests arrived, we were ready to go.
It was definitely a different experience, I haven't been to a quinceañera since I was 15, a little less than half my age hahaha.
Things have changed a lot over the years but these are traditions that remain intact. People continue to celebrate this passage of their little ones from childhood to youth. Because they are not adults, they are still girls in the process of becoming women.
Que por cierto antes de irnos pudimos ver el baile sorpresa, esto es otra de las cosas emblemáticas de este tipo de celebración. Fue súper chistoso porque bailaron la prima, amigas y hasta una de sus tias.
Estaban súper coordinadas. Se notaba que practicaron mucho y además que lo disfrutaron.
Ya luego nos despedimos, la mamá me agradeció mucho por el cuadro, quedó encantada con todo y eso me llenó de orgullo. 🥹
De ahí salimos a esperar el taxi y ya finalizó nuestra noche.
By the way, before we left we were able to see the surprise dance, this is another of the emblematic things of this type of celebration. It was super funny because the cousin, friends and even one of her aunts danced.
They were super coordinated. You could tell that they practiced a lot and also that they enjoyed it.
Then we said goodbye, the mom thanked me a lot for the painting, she was delighted with everything and that filled me with pride. 🥹
From there we went out to wait for the cab and our night was over.
