Do you know what the term bayanihan is? It's a Filipino culture, and I'm pretty sure if you're a Filipino, you know of this word, or if not, at least you're familiar with it.
Bayanihan is the term for working together for a certain goal. It's usually depicted in art as carrying together a house to move. It's mostly done without expecting anything in return but it promotes cooperation and unity within the community.
In Hive PH, we want to emphasize the Bayanihan spirit.
Bayanihan Up Day - an event where we'll see people joining forces for the community to grow.
This event is not just for Filipinos, but also extended to everyone in the community.
How to join?
TLDR,
On the 27th of the month, delegate or add more delegation (minimum 10 HP) to the @hivephilippines account
Now, why on the 27th? Because in the Philippines, we celebrate Bayanihan Day on May 27.
Important Rules:
- Anybody can join!
- A minimum of 10 HP should be delegated. If you have an existing delegation, you can add more in increments of 10.
- Event will start from 12 midnight of every 27th of the month til 11:59 PM, in Philippine Time
- Did not remove or reduce their delegations from @hivephilippines for the past 30 days. Use your HP however you want, we're just screening out accounts that want to game the system by delegating at the last minute and pulling back their delegations in cycles.
NOTE: Be careful, delegation should be done to the @hivephilippines account. If you have successfully delegated, there will be a notification message on the #general channel in the discord server.
Why delegate?
For the community:
The vote value of the community account will increase.
As we always mentioned, there's a #vote-me channel in the Hive PH discord server where all users with the hayahay role can trigger the bot and get an upvote from the @hivephilippines account.
For you:
If you're using the #vote-me channel for posts, you can see an increase in the vote value.
Not just that, you will also be receiving delegation rewards from the community.
Prizes?
We want to encourage you to delegate to the community account, so we'll be giving away a special prize.
A random participant will be awarded with a delegation from the community account. This delegation will be 100 HP or 200 HP depending on the total amount delegated on the Bayanihan Up Day.
In addition, we will also be handing out 3 HSBI each to 3 random participants.
