I have been playing The Splinterlands, a play-to-earn game on the Hive blockchain, for the past five years. It's truly remarkable and stands out as one of its kind, having been around for over six years on the blockchain, and I am sure many more has to come. Unlike many other games that come and go amidst initial hype, leaving players and developers wondering, The Splinterlands has proven its longevity and reliability. The game has seen up and down during the last five years and we have seen the big changes in the management also but with ALL of this the one thing which I have observed is the spirit of team and the players which make sure that the show must go on. The ranked battle game play is one part which most of the players using to earn the rewards and tokens but their are some other methods also which also reward the players like lands, brawls etc. The lands are also one source of passive income in game along with rental market. Those multiple ways give even multi steams to a single players or a players as per their choice choose the way he want to use the game assets.
Form some time I was away form the brawls because of busy schedule but I must say that keeping myself away form means I am loosing the SPS and Merit rewards form the brawl participation. If your team members has good collection according to the different league then its worth to patriciate in the brawls fight. The Merits are worth to spend on the Gladius packs and always keep in mind the gladius cards had one awesome ability named bloodlust. And its not that you can not use the gladius cards for the ranked battles, one card is allowed if the game rules allows and some summoner also has the ability to call one gladius card in the game. The only prerequisite for participation is you should be part a Guild. The gladius case can purchased and open only, if you are member of a guild. Each gladius case cost 2000 merits per pack and each pack contain five NFT cards. Fortunately I am member of the Team Possible Power Guild. My favorite card form the gladius case is Quora Towershead, I love to include this card in the battle. Bloodlust is awesome ability. Best use of the merits is to purchase the Gladius pack only (their is no other use till now).
In the last brawl play I played well and won six out of seven battles. As a reward I received the staked SPS and merits. I am trying to be more active on brawl. The soulkeep game is already live. I do not know how I missed the launch part and last week only come to know about the game. I started playing the game, at first it took some time to understand as I was not able to find any tutorial on same. I am able to unlock the second league and trying to unlock the height leagues. At first it looks very easy but when you start playing you come to know that it also need strategy and planning to win. The difficulty level gets increased after every wave passed. The Soulkeep is also more more way to earn form game but the NFT required to play are different so you will not able to play with the already available cards in your collection. I have opened some of the soulkeep packs also will share the details in separate post. I am missing a Hero card in my collection but thanks to the rental system that make a Hero card available for me. The Hero card is strong and has good damage stats and really helpful in game. If you do not have the Hero card that you are not able to fill one place also which is not good for defense strategy.
