Most known as The Hold Steady frontman and storyteller, 50 years old Craig Finn, is able to evoke the different emotions that accompanied him on the rocky journey to the bottom. 'The Legacy Of Rentals', his latest solo album, points to various real-life casualties that happen to ordinary mortals.

Harry Styles - Wet Dream

Harry is an English singer, composer, and actor. Also known as a member of the famous boy band One Direction. His solo career has taken off since 2017. Just a few days ago (24th of May), BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge with Harry Styles, among other things, he and his band performed a cover of Wet Leg's Wet Dream.
A future superstar (if he isn't already), for sure.

Wilco - Cruel Country

The alternative Chicago band, currently led by Jeff Tweedy, loves experimenting with sounds, although you wouldn't expect that from a country-leaning band.
The new album, 'Cruel Country' and the track of the same name should be understood as a musical genre and also as a nation.
A very specific way of interpreting and approaching country music. Highly recommended.

Paris Jackson - Lighthouse

Songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, actress, and activist Paris Jackson with this single introduces her new sound and musical journey. The song channels raw 90s rock energy, while bringing the power of classic alternative dynamics, especially a superb guitar solo and hypnotic lyrics with the young musician's honest signature.
In the video, inspired by the work of Nirvana, Paris also pays tribute to Kurt Cobain.
Did I mention she is Michael Jackson's daughter?

Quavo and Takeoff from Migos have released the single 'Hotel Lobby', which is actually an homage to the film classic 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas starring Johnny Depp and Benicio Del Toro.
A psychedelic trap madness of a traveling pharmacy from the desert to Las Vegas.

Pantaloons - Horse

Electrofunk trio Pantaloons from Slovenia have been created since 2019. They have taken their dance music to many showcase festivals and have built an enviable reputation in the region based on live performance, known for its energy and audience empathy.
A steady saxophone strumming, based on jazz, funk, and electronic dance music and immersed in Balkan rhythms, they want to dance with the audience without any inhibitions. Very danceable.

Bloodz Boi & Quit Life - Soma

The unlikely connection between Beijing-based vocalist Bloodz Boi and Swedish experimental electronic duo Quit Life is made possible by the use of a VPN, as our taken-for-granted online services, social media, and even email, are blocked by what is known as the Great Firewall of China.
Inventiveness knows no bounds and so Bloodz Boi is after a consistent string of releases that have caught the ears of listeners of the international underground cloud rap scene. The tracks are based on a combination of dreamy melodies of classical instruments and monumental electronic production with trance-like synths and reverberating ambient sounds at the forefront. A mix of emo rap and ambient pop.

Shabaka - Call it a European paradox

Frontman of several jazz tribes, Shabaka Hutchings, with his first EP 'African Culture', presents himself as a solo artist, using traditional African instruments with which he to build tension and stability in the musical structure.
The soundtracks of a lived past that to be listened to repeatedly. Recommended.
