HivePosh Impressions Contest

Hey everyone!

After some time fine-tuning the process of this contest, we've decided on how to move forward with it!

This contest is meant to reward those actively sharing and talking hive on both Reddit and Twitter.

Introduction

As you know, Twitter's API changes caused @poshtoken to not automatically operate on there any longer. It made it impossible for us to fetch whenever a Hive link was shared in a tweet to then reward those sharers with POSH and hive upvotes through the comments. Furthermore, they recently also made personal analytics hidden unless you're paying for Premium which is kind of blah, the only way to check your analytics and the only ones they release are "last 7 days impressions" and it seems to only show on your profile when using the Twitter app:

While Reddit is still working through @redditposh, it has quite a learning curve since it works similar to communities here with each subreddit having their own rules and not all of them being accepting of articles from unknown links/socials. We're working on setting up a "tested" list and will be pinning it to @poshtoken so you can easily check where sharing Hive links could work well and based on the genre of the post.

Setup

Edit: Contest valid only for Reddit.

We'll start off with weekly contests with some nice prizes to incentivize more sharing on top of the already existing ways to earn by sharing.

Before entering the contest, login with keychain and Reddit to hiveposh.com, once you've successfully linked your web2 account it'll show this:

This will also get you an icon next to your Hive profile on @peakd (and potentially on other frontends as well):

Once that's done you're good to go!

How to enter

To enter the contest, you drop a comment under this post with screenshots of your Reddit analytics.

Checking your recent Hive link shares that @redditposh picked up, you share your top 5 shares from the past week and the amount of views they received.

You can find analytics to your submissions on your user page under the "post" tab on Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/user/Acidyo/submitted/ (replace username with your own). Only you can however see the analytics, thus you gotta share them with us to enter the contest.

Prizes

We're offering some nice prizes for you wanting to grow your influence and stake on Hive! Every week we'll be offering 1000 HP delegation to winners.

If there's 3 winners in the Reddit contest, they'll receive 1000 HP delegation, 500 for first place, 300 for 2nd place and 200 for 3rd place.

The delegations will not run out unless you become inactive on the web2 platforms you've won them for. If you become inactive for 2 weeks, your delegation will be revoked and you'd have to start out from 0 again.

Additionally, we will continue to monitor @redditposh shares and give bigger votes when we see them doing well in terms of upvotes on Reddit. We will also give big votes to your contest entries if you're showing that your shares and activities are bringing a lot of traffic to our front-ends.

We will be focusing on rewarding good sharers consistently as long as their activities are showing results in terms of views and traffic to our ecosystem. We reserve the right to disqualify accounts from the contest and/or the POSH program if we suspect foul play. We strive for real shares and users taking the time to learn how to properly share on Reddit and Twitter, spam on those platforms will also not be tolerated as that will not help hive.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask here in the comment section.

This is an experiment and there may be a lot of new additions and restrictions to future contests or changes to the prize distribution to make it as fun and rewarding for everyone involved and our ecosystem as a whole.

Keep in mind that this contest counts for your activities in the last week, don't enter Reddit share analytic screenshots after this post went out, save them for next week instead!
