despite of the fact that working from home is becoming a norm yet people want holidays equally. I remember the excitement of returning home from work on Friday knowing that tomorrow will be my off day.
Also I remember the time when I felt like why am I going to work on the weekend and we all have been through the situations like it for once in life.
Two Workplace Experiences that demands more or no holidays
I have to admit the fact that working in a place like office or any place that requires you to be there physically often demands more holidays as the workload is more and person gets easily exhausted by traveling from home to office and office to home likewise.

When you're away from home and spending 9 to 5 at office.. that becomes a part of your life that wants to spend more time with the family and children who you're working for to provide them.
If it was in our boss hand he would never give a single holiday on any occasion not even on weekends. People mostly want to exploit workers and use for their advantage especially where I'm living.
Work from Home doesn't need more holidays
I've worked from home too for a long time and honestly it is the best thing in my opinion when you don't have to travel all the way to be physically in the office.
When you're working from home, it's like you've your will to do whatever you want; spend more time with family while managing work.

And usually those who work from home don't want more holidays and I personally even prefer to work on the weekends from home.
Like I said, 9 to 5 jobs at office gives us too little time to spend with family, we go to office, spend entire day..comeback home and do dinner than sleep and wake up next day to repeat the same thing over again.
Some moments in life deserves more holidays
It is cruel of some workplace who don't give holidays in some moments like I had this one relative who couldn't attend a funeral just because he didn't got any holiday plan.
now recently it was my aunt marriage and we all went to another city to attend except some of dearly people who didn't got any holidays to live in that special moment.
One of my cousin literally resigned from work he was doing in company for years just to attend the marriage and he said they'll eventually end up calling me so sometimes you gotta take those holidays in your own style depends on the moment.
Wrapping Up...
In the end kids ends up getting more holidays than us adults but it would be a lot better when they let us get some extra holidays when there's a special or such moment in life that comes only once.
