The film She-Devil is a 1989 American black comedy directed by Susan Seidelman. The story revolves around Ruth Patchett, a housewife and mother played by Roseanne Barr. Ruth is portrayed as an overweight and unkempt woman who struggles to make her husband, Bob Patchett, played by Ed Begley Jr., happy.
