SplinterGlossary: Tower Defense Game (TD)
Tower Defense (TD) is a subgenre of strategy games where the goal is to make it hard for the enemy to reach your base by strategically placing defensive structures (towers, traps, etc.) along their likely path of attack.
Defensive elements have different roles:
- destroy enemies
- slow enemies down
- block a path (wall)
- trigger on certain events (traps)
