What Is GHAWG?
#GHAWG is short for "God's Hog: A Watchful Guardian." This fictional story tells how David Guardia, a courier and business owner from Bayonne, New Jersey, US moved into the next phase of his life after spending the final ten years of his ailing father's life helping him.

🏍️ The first time the term shieldmaiden appears, it was the uncanny Manny Rey who mentioned it to David Guardia when they had a layover in Defiance, Ohio, US. Not including the flashback sequence in Interlude 1, this is the second time we see the term used. Manny Rey had predicted "She's out there. You'll find her, or she'll find you"; and that's exactly what happened.🏍️ Rhonda Bella doesn't go looking for trouble, but if trouble finds her she is ready to dispatch it swiftly and immediately. This she has in common with David Guardia. |

So far David has done all the fighting, but Rhonda knows that he can use her protective services. 🏍️ Vikings was a series which aired on The History Channel from 2013 through 2020. Given where it aired, the series was done as a historical drama. One of the main characters is Ragnar Lothbrok. Another main character is Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick), Ragnar's wife. Early in the series she is referred to as a shieldmaiden due to her fighting skills and composure under combat during raids. |

| 🏍️ This is the first time David Guardia and Rhonda Bella spend time with each other in a very personal way, beyond conversations and riding. Nothing happens between them, but the bond between them grows stronger every day. 🏍️ Not anyone can use a straight razor without skill. Unlike a safety razor commonly found in many types of stores, a straight razor is a tool which requires skill and practice to use. Rhonda has that skill, and David trusts her with the straight razor. |

| We reached Bozeman, MT via Interstate 90, and we would ride I-90 the rest of our time in Montana before crossing the 66 miles of Idaho which separated Montana and Washington. Rest at Missoula, MT; then at Spokane, Washington. |

| Once in Spokane, Washington, we were in the Pacific Northwest. This offered us a different kind of beauty: more green, less tan & sand. Just as we had in Montana & (briefly) Idaho, we would ride I-90 to Seattle and Puget Sound. |

Story Arc So Far
After the sight seeing tour between STURGIS and Yellowstone, including stops at Mount Rushmore in South Dakota and Devils Tower in Wyoming, the combined crew finds itself taking a layover in Bozeman, Montana. It's been a carefree ride for them since they left STURGIS, and they were able to kick back and relax.
The layover in Bozeman also affords David Guardia and Rhonda Bella time to spend with each other. While not exactly in a courtship, they are getting to know each other better by the decisions they make the actions they each take.
Until this point, most of the fighting involved David Guardia. This is the first time we see Rhonda Bella in action.

As the convoy of David Guardia's crew and Harry Hoqualogue's Mongols ride into Seattle, Washington, US, David gets more clarity in what he's supposed to do in Portland, Oregon, US. He does some unexpected shopping, and even The Mongols find themseles scratching their heads.
