Hello! As part of our ongoing efforts to improve both interaction and curation in the Movies and TV Shows Community, this post is one of many to highlight and boost members of the past week that have posted what we believe is exceptional content.

The Details

Each week, our Moderators will monitor the posts within the Movies and TV Shows Community and handpick the ones that are believed to stand out under numerous factors: post quality, length, and subject.

There are no entry requirements, and this is not a contest, but simply a roundup intended to provide additional exposure to all of you for your efforts. Just have fun posting in the Movies & TV Shows Community and five or more posts will be chosen frequently.

Movie review: Pirates of the Caribbean - The Curse of the Black Pearl

Disney is always doing a great job on their movies and this wouldn't be considered a classic if it wasn't any good, I really enjoyed watching the movie, it contained some funny moments but also a lot of action combined with a good story, Johnny Depp plays a good role of a somewhat crazy (and funny) captain.

Let's Talk about "Transformers One" (2024)

If you haven't seen any of the previous Transformers movies, don't worry, because this will not be an impediment for you to fully enjoy this installment; the plot starts in Cybertron, a planet that after suffering an alien attack where its elite soldiers die, they lose their most valuable artifact called “the Matrix of Leadership”, which was what gave energy to the planet, having now to extract Energon from the mines, in order to survive. Being the miners in charge of doing this work as slaves, being the lowest class of machines, since they do not have the power to transform.

Una trama curiosa que no fue bien aprovechada | CinéfILAZ #4: Abigail

The plot of the film starts off a bit curious, we are shown a group of people who sign up to commit a crime of kidnapping a little girl from her home to ransom her father, something that would seem like a basic and classic thriller, each criminal has a personal touch to bring to the group and they all have a particular past, but I'll talk about that later.

Reseña de Kaos o cómo Esquilo escribiría para Netflix

Although I wasn't planning on doing any such post this week, I recently learned that after streaming the first season of the series Kaos Netflix has decided to cancel the series. The reasons seem to be not very complex, apparently it didn't reach the audience they expected despite staying in the global top10 for 4 weeks. Although I don't know if there has been an official statement confirming such news, apparently the information was leaked.

Los Anillos de Poder: Temporada 2 - Sauron ha Regresado

Something funny is that someone dies, I'm sure I saw him die hahaha and then he appears alive as if nothing to continue in the next chapters. There's also a bad connection between one chapter and the next, when Adar and Elrond meet in the middle of the battle, when it seems like all is lost for one side and then when they go back to the battle scene, it's like they were never together. I think there was a lack of timing there.

Shaniflix 🎬🎞🎥: Bad adaptations | Malas adaptaciones

This saga of games I really have a little affection for, because I admit, I've only tried the first one and I didn't play it completely, it was really exciting how almost 4 years ago, I think, they showed us that they were working on a movie idea, where this universe like Mad Max, very crazy and full of lots of blood and colors would be taken to the big screen. Also something that I admit that made me have good expectations for this movie, was the fact that they mentioned that Edgar Ramirez would participate in it and the truth is that I was very excited about it.

Hunter Killer || A Solid Submarine Action Flick

Gerard Butler, as usual, is in very fine form as Captain Glass. His performance in my opinion is groundbreaking, solid and dependable. Butler’s characters in the action movies I've seen all seem to have that gruff, no-nonsense vibe and Captain Glass is no different. He’s not flashy, but he gets the job done. What I enjoyed most was the dynamic between Glass and his crew. There’s a sense of camaraderie and trust that adds a layer of authenticity to the film’s submarine scenes.

Sweatpea (series): This ranks pretty high in my book so far

What emerges on the other side of this event is not really the same person at all. However, she is the only one that knows about the change and is really good at concealing it and this leads her to finally stand up for herself in her life and then all of the things in her life start to turn around for the better, but in the meantime she has some dark secrets and has to be very careful or things could turn bad for her again.
