The Coin
I ducked behind a bush. A jogger went by at a good speed, before I could even think about stopping him. Mrs. Harris tossed the coin on to the sidewalk directly in front of the jogger. The trees, jogger, and everything else began to swirl. There was a bright light. The jogger disappeared, and Mrs. Harris clapped her hands in glee. -@wrestlingdesires
I think the couple are both from another world and sometimes come into this world to pick unsuspecting people from normal streets like Main street and take them to their world. -@kemmyb

Cocoa on Main
Writing is a delicate dance between the mind and the fingers - each one knowing its rhythm and sway. Mind leads, fingers follow. But with the bum wrist now, it is not at all like losing a sense where the other senses overcompensate for the loss. Rather, I've had to revert to hunt-and-pecking again. It's not just the posting that I miss, but the commenting, the relationship-building, the whole kit and caboodle. My kit has kicked the bucket and my caboodle has lost its noodle. -@stormcharmer

The Perfect Stranger
All Daisy could remember after partying through Friday night with her girlfriends was getting drunk and taking an uber home. She could barely make out what time it was as she struggled to open her eyes. The fragrance of the room smelt heavenly from that of her apartment and the window blinds were different. -@daveyjones

The Last Red Line on Main Street
Next step: Mr. Stepforth's contacts found some pre-Cornerstone mortgages to compare with the newer ones – the older mortgages had similar language, but it had been struck through, which meant it was no longer operational … just there as a quiet, tacit hint to the game being played. Cornerstone Bank had brought the covenants out of strikethrough, in direct defiance of all relevant law. -@deeanndmathews
This story has a really nice story arc and resolution, which of course is what we are always looking for in stories. It provides that great feeling of satisfaction that the author has taken us on a small journey where something signifant happens and the story's central conflict is resolved. Well done! -@jayna

Insomnia
Maybe it was smoke. Maybe it was just strange fog. What do I know? As I watched, a large patch of mist drifted up to the window and looked at me. I blinked a few times, and looked back. There was a face in the mist, and it was watching me. The face floated away as I stared after it. I got up from my chair, and slowly put my face to the glass and watched the mist as closely as I could. -@iamsmaller

Into Unknown Place
The next day, Suzzette was fixing her things when she heard a sound in the storage room near her bedroom. She stopped for a while and had walked slowly going in the direction of that room but when she was about to touch the doorknob to open the door, she was shocked when the doorknob clicked as if somebody was holding the knob from the inside..she asked "Is there anyone inside the room? Mom, is it you?" But no one responded. -@aimharryianne
