We're back at Montreal's Legal Wall de Rouen, again in May, with a superb three-part production of crew K6A. Only two are visible in the first photo. I'll leave a little suspense to discover the third work, a technique to force you to scroll further down 😀. Nous sommes de retour au Mur Légal de Rouen à Montréal, toujours au mois de mai avec une superbe production du crew K6, composé de trois parties. Seules deux sont visibles sur la première photo. WHO

We begin our tour of the Legal Wall de Rouen quietly with two letterings by unknown artists. I like the color palette chosen on the first lettering, perfect for summer 🔼. On the second 🔽, the letters are very clean.

Nous commençons tranquillement le tour du Mur Légal de Rouen avec deux lettrages d'artistes inconnus. J'aime bien la palette de couleurs choisies sur le premier lettrage, parfait pour l'été 🔼. Sur le second 🔽, les lettres sont très propres.

Yaze & Snaz

The only really interesting work on the first wall is this lettering with that purple head. Two artists collaborated Snaz, from Quebec with Yaze aka Mr Polo. This seems to be their first collaboration, perhaps even meeting on the same day under this viaduct. Really interesting places like this where artists can exchange ideas.

La seule œuvre vraiment intéressante sur le premier mur est ce lettrage avec cette tête violette. Deux artistes ont collaboré Snaz, provenant du Québec avec Yaze aka Mr Polo. Cela semble être leur première collaboration, peut être même rencontrés le jour même sous ce viaduc. Vraiment intéressant les lieux comme cela ou les artistes peuvent échanger.

Clo

And we end the first wall with Claudia Guindon aka Clo, a regular here with this tree caught in a whirlpool. / FR : Et nous terminons le premier mur avec Claudia Guindon aka Clo, une habituée des lieux avec cet arbre pris dans un tourbillon.

We cross the rue de Rouen to find the most interesting part of the day the production of the collective K6 with Axe, Monk.E and Korb. / FR : Nous traversons la rue de Rouen pour trouver la partie la plus intéressante du jour la production du collectif K6 avec Axe, Monk.E et Korb.

Axe

We start with Axe with this rather stylish character on his scooter. The background is done by Monk.E, whose style is clearly recognizable with its calligraphic elements. / FR : Nous commençons par Axe avec ce personnage assez stylé sur son triporteur. Le fond a été par Monk.E dont on reconnait le style avec ses éléments de calligraphie.

Monk.E

Next up is Monk.E and this magnificent portrait with the lights of a city at night, topped by a huge moon, in the background. I love the details, including this alien craft. Unfortunately, in my photo, it's hidden behind a branch. / FR : On enchaine avec Monk.E et ce magnifique portrait avec en arrière plan les lumières d'un ville une nuit surmontée d'une énorme lune. J'aime les détails dont ce vaisseau extraterrestre. Malheureusement sur ma photo, il est caché derrière une branche.

Korb

And we end with Korb and this superb lettering, again on a purple background to keep this triptych together. Beautiful..., no? No idea about the red and green head that follows this collaboration. But I think it's very well done.

Et on termine avec Korb et ce superbe lettrage, toujours sur un fond violet pour garder une unité sur ce triptyque. De toute beauté..., non ? Aucune idée pour la tête rouge et verte qui suit cette collaboration. Mais je la trouve très bien faite.

Sino

Earlier this month, the nearby StreetArt boutique and gallery Le Sino organized a jam to launch the season, inviting a number of artists to the Legal Wall de Rouen.

Au début du mois, la boutique et galerie StreetArt Le Sino qui ne se trouve pas très loin avait organisé un jam pour lancer la saison en invitant quelques artistes au Mur Légal de Rouen.
