My Linux (Ubuntu) PC broke down! Not Linux itself of course, that's been running like a charm for more than 5 years without a hiccup and without the PC ever been turned off; there's something wrong with the hardware, so I've been struggling all evening with it but haven't been able to revive it (yet, I hope). This is why I only have a very short post for you today, my dear readers...

For a "quick and dirty" job there's almost no better place than PragerU. Its founder and owner, Dennis Prager, is one of the scariest online personalities I've ever had the displeasure of getting acquainted with; he speaks with a pleasant voice, has a very respectable demeanor and attitude and uses ditto language, but somehow still manages to come across as a complete and utter freak. You know, the pleasant old man who at the end of the horror movie is revealed as the one murdering all the little kids... Every single PragerU video is a lie, or at least I've seen not a single truthful one. None of the far right opinions (which they put forward as facts) are backed with sound arguments and none of the arguments are backed with correct data. And if the data is correct, they draw the wrong conclusions. You know what I mean; stating that blacks make up only 13% of the population, then stating that they commit more than 50% of the violent crimes, and concluding that this must be so because there's something wrong with black culture. They must be listening to too much of that gangsta rap.And why can't black fathers stay at home to take care of their kids. That sort of argumentation. meant to "prove" that systemic racism, white male privilege and the patriarchy don't exist, that these are wild conspiracy theories from the "radical left". I tell you, my friends, next to PragerU the intellectual dark web and right wing hacks like Shapiro and Molineux are mere amateurs...

Thank God for Darkmatter2525. He's a YouTuber who has been active on the platform almost since its conception, at least since 2008. If you're wondering how he got that name, he told in a recent interview that he had just seen a documentary about Dark Matter while the song "In the Year 2525" by Zager And Evans was stuck in his head... He is one of the very first skeptics and atheists that found a home on YouTube; visit his channel and enjoy the cartoons he's made through the years, most of them involving a thorough debunking of theism. More recently he's switched to more political content though. In an interview I saw with him he explained that, although he was part of the online skeptics group, he got tired of them when they became too radical in their anti-SJW stance, especially after the gamergate controversy, the first harrasment campaign against progressivism centered around issues of sexism in video-games; the incels who were gaming around the clock in their mother's basement couldn't handle the introduction of females, gays and minorities in their favorite video-games. And yes, gamers are primarily white males; where else would you expect such a movement to be born? Darkmatter2525 has recently made a great cartoon, a perfect parody of your usual PragerU video. If you've ever seen one of the PragerU videos, you know they're full of standard far right talking points, presented by some invited speaker who shares an anecdote or two from their personal experience, accompanied by nonsensical graphs and charts that, if you pause the video to look at them, give no information whatsoever. This cartoon by Darkmatter2525 is THE BEST PragerU video you'll ever see. Enjoy...
