Iceberg to the rescue

"I am going to sink your pathetic old fashioned boat Johnny." shouted a boastful Derek and laughed with the man beside him.
Sure enough the orange motor boat had turned round and was on a collision course with Cooper and looked as if it would hit Cooper right in the middle and perhaps capsize or sink Cooper.
Johnny couldn't look and had his hands covering his eyes.
"Now Johnny, now Johhny, throw it!"
Johnny let the food fly out of his hand and onto the water, and in between his little fingers he saw a big white iceberg floating down the water.- @tengolotodo
Camping in Forest
That's when I heard “Hey are you there?” The voice seemed to move, but I couldn't determine which way.
I inhaled deeply. I had two options: stay put and let them have all the advantages, or go out there and fight. It wasn't actually a question. My hands shook as I grabbed for the zipper. I started unzipping it with my headlamp ready. As soon as the flap went down, I would flash my flashlight in the person's face, causing astonishment. That would have let me get to my automobile. - @kirlos

THe turned the pages with his right hand, always from the top right side of the page, placed his thumb over the turned page to hold it down and continued reading without pause. It was funny how he'd tilt his head around the page as he turned it as if eager to read the next words more quickly. He never looked up but occasionally adjusted his glasses, sipped his coffee and remained focused on his book. It made me think of myself and the bubble I'd created around myself to hold others away. I wondered why he did it. -@becca-mac

"Please stay longer. Come and see me tomorrow."
I looked into her eyes, those eyes that implored me to reconsider not just my travel plans, but the plans for the rest of my life.
The woman of my dreams was standing before me... Ever since Matt's heart had been sewn into my body 12 months before... giving me a second chance at life, my love for Olivia, my fiancee, had dissipated and my overwhelming desire had been to be with this mysterious woman who visited me regularly in the depths of the night, whose face, and voice, and fiery red hair had graced my dreams. - @samsmith1971
A matter of time-and death
"Are we not crossing over with canoes?" I asked curiously.
Just then,I heard a loud neighing as a horse walked out of nowhere.
"Great, you are going to ride on the sea with your fancy white horse."
He smiled, then replied.
"It's either this or you go back to trying your luck with the canoe men. I'm sure you will end up on a canoe headed north."
This is how it all started 150 years ago. He mounted the horse and helped me up. In a moment we were flying over the sea into the city. The sight was beautiful, never seen anything like it. The sea glowed as the sun rays hit it's glassy surface.- @doziekash
The Accursed / A Different Story
Drenched with water, bleeding from some parts of my head, I ran from one end of the ship to another throwing things overboard. We were at the heart of the storm, I knew it would all be over soon. Ella who was probably in shock sat at a corner shivering. I tried to make my way to her, when a heavy lightening struck, sending the main mast crumbling to the deck. With that, our ship capsized throwing us into the dark sea. I felt water feeling my nostrils, my eyes were covered with darkness. I felt my body falling deeper and deeper. Then I heard my mother's voice repeatedly in my head. "Even in your last breath, never give up." Slowly, I fought my way back up.
"Ella! Ella!!" - @doubleworld
The Mystery in the Theater
There were only two days left for the play's premiere and something strange happened.
While Sam was with Marie by a fountain in the village they saw someone strange passing by the theater area, someone who didn't want to be seen it was around 9pm and it was already getting dark.
A figure of a man in a gabadine, dressed to the feet with a brimmed hat that covered his face, ran from place to place, hiding and spying to see if he was being seen until he entered through a back door of the theater.
"Sam saw what I just saw," Marie said quietly so as not to be overheard.
"Yes Marie, something strange is going on and one thing I can assure you is not good."
"We have to go quickly to the attic, call John, we have to tell him that we saw something about to happen."- @ricestrela
