Chasing the miraging freedom
Pixabay
I kept walking till I was far away from home. I met several schoolmates on the streets and got to know their homes. Most of them were astonished to see me, but I didn't inform anyone I met that I had gone AWOL. I kept on exploring and began connecting the new neighbourhoods I discovered to the streets I was already familiar with. As I walked, I became fatigued, thirsty, and hungry, and the heat beat down on me. I didn't steal any money when I was running away from home, and I started to regret it.

The Wind's Whisper
Pixabay
As the wind's song reached a crescendo, something inside Hannah snapped. Before she knew what she was doing, her feet carried her out the front door, across the creaky porch, down the front steps, and into the field. Hannah broke into a run, breathing in the fresh air, her skin alive with the wind's caress.
She laughed aloud, feeling years of tension begin to loosen their grip. Hannah cartwheeled and skipped through the grass like she was 10 years old again. Her hair flew wild, dress billowing around her knees. She raised her face to the sky, arms outstretched.

The choice to love
When I told my mom and she was skeptical, I assumed she was still seeing me as a baby and I refused to give her more information about us.
Meanwhile, Nathan wasn't based in my state. He came over to attend the carnival and spend some time on vacation, so 40 days after we met, he packed his bags and left. He promised he was always going to come visit, we would have endless video and audio calls and I wouldn't even notice he wasn't there.

The Tornado
I peered into the tornado that was a few distance from me.
It was wild and noisy, with an overwhelming
smell.
I couldn't see what lay within or beyond it; leaves were swirling in the air along with sand particles.
There's definitely something in the wind. I muttered fearfully.

Jadesola

One tactic I employed to get close to Jadesola but had little results was constantly borrowing things from her, such as notebooks, biros, pencils, erasers, etc. Another was to send small notes to those we loved, not necessarily as declarations of intent but perhaps to pass on information we did not want others to know about. Nonetheless, I made my decision, "I would write her a love note," which I eventually did, but the outcome was rather unpalatable. I sent a junior student to deliver the small, pieced love note that contained the expression of my undiluted heart feelings for her, savored with promises of commitment and public displays of affection.

The glow

I began to walk softly almost like a cat. There were many doors and at the back, I could see the exit sign. Finally, I reached the exit and at that moment the door opened and I ran into an open room and hid, the skinny man entered whistling that melody and went to the back. The door was still open and was slowly closing, I took the opportunity and ran desperately.

“Please do so.”
She takes a couple of days to gather and place the eggs in the assigned spots where we have installed the recording instrumentation. Joan is methodical in her approach as she quietly moves through the thick vegetation. When she communicates with me, she does so in a very professional and technical manner. Strictly detached and scientific. I appreciate that but sometimes wonder how she knows what I prefer.
