Leader; reflection of followers.

"Why did you do this? Why did you join the corrupt leaders that you so much despise? Do you remember our discussion a day before the protest of that year?"
"Yes, I do. I now understand that someone may not be able to understand himself until he gets power or leadership positions at any level. Please forgive me."
Initially, I wanted to recommend his suspension and refund of the embezzled money. However, this was a guy in his final year.
I wrote my report and followed it up so that the school authority could temper justice with mercy. A warning letter was written to him by the Dean of students affairs.

Pause for Thought: A Christmas Story

'No, you didn't. Didn't think. You know why we are here, right? Because the people before us filled the world with so much useless crap that we could barely breathe. Two of my children died from cancers caused by the world we inherited. You think this product is going to be useful? Why not invent something that will actually save us? Now that would be an awesome thing to have in the stores by Christmas.' With that, he blinked three times, and the InnoLenses fell onto the desk, where he crushed them with his fist. 'Fuck you people,' he hissed, as the manager ushered him from the room, whereby he was promptly replaced by another IS desk worker. The line must be processed. It was the busiest time of the year.

When the lights were out and he was sure everyone was curled up in their straw beds with Mama's knitted blankets over their heads, Andrew pulled a sweater over his head, tiptoeing to get the small flashlight Mark had left him before packing up for Oxford and making his way through the small bedroom he had been given because he complained a year ago that Joey's snore kept him awake half of the night.!

Such Great Heights

It rained for two weeks, and when it wasn’t raining, the weather was still gloomy. So, she hadn’t gotten a chance to go work on her paintings. She took the time to read some of the books that her brother had purchased a few years ago to learn more about the ‘art and science' of painting. In one of these works, she came across the idea that one should think of the canvass as a volume of space that already contains the objects one fancies, and it is the job of the artist to shape that space and discover those objects of imagination. She would try to keep this in mind next time she returned to her painting.

Soulful Echoes of Intuition

As she lectured about the Victorian era, Abby scanned the old photographs projected on the classroom screen. The genteel ladies in their billowing gowns, the gentlemen with their walking sticks and top hats. They looked so familiar. Her gaze settled on one portrait of a smiling woman. She felt her breath catch. It was the reflection she had seen, the woman from her dreams. Eleanor Montgomery, wife of prominent businessman Bartholomew Montgomery, the caption read.

My little brother has kneeled down and is praying. I was thinking of who I could borrow a generator from. I picked up my phone to call a friend, but then the electricity was restored. We all rushed to the living room to put on the TV. As soon as the TV went on, we heard my dad parking inside the compound. The decoder was still loading, and the TV station wasn’t on yet for us to change it. I asked my little sister to lock the door so we could all pretend like we didn’t know he was around until he knocked on the door. My big sister rushed to close off all the windows so he wouldn't see what we were doing. The knock came, and the television and decoder went on. My little brother went to open the door as soon as I changed the station. We all gave a deep sign because we had just Escape from the grip of fear.
