Also this has become quite the Challenge! With so many units to review in the game the consensus in the hobby community is that I will not have enough time to review all of the Datasheets before the new edition of Warhammer 40,000 came out.
I should have started when 10th edition launched!
414 days since the start of 10th Edition.
This is Review #102, I am 312 reviews behind! I kept my slight gain from yesterday!
Picking them randomly, let me spin the wheel again and see what I get:
Black Templars, Black Templars Gladiator Lancer
10th Edition Index
Black Templars are eternal crusaders. Their Gladiator Lancer comes with an additional Multi-Melta.
A Gladiator Lancer is a tank killer vehicle that is part of the expansion that Bellisarius Cawl brought with Primaris Technology to the Chapters in the Era Indominus.
I had to search for a specific Black Templar picture not off the Warhammer website because as usual, they show those as Ultramarines only.
It costs 170pts to field and $92 to buy!

Ranged:
The Gladiator Lancer comes standard with Lancer laser destroyer and 2x storm bolters.
Weapon Options:
- The Storm Bolters can be replaced with 2 2 fragstorm grenade launchers.
- You can add 1 Icarus rocket pod. (Why wouldn't you?)
- You can add either have a Multi-melta or an Ironhail Heavy Stubber.
Lancer Laser Destroyer
Range 72", 2 Attacks, Hitting on 3+, S14, Ap -4, D6+3 Damage each
Heavy (If this unit remains stationary, add +1 to the to Hit roll)
An absolutely devastating anti-tank weapon!

Range 24", 2 Attacks, Hitting on 3+, S4, Ap 0, 1 Damage each
Rapid Fire 2 (Add 2 shots at half range of 12")
Fragstorm Grenade Launcher
Range 18", D6 Attacks, Hitting on 3+, S4, Ap 0, 1 Damage each
Blast (Add +1 Attack per 5 models in target unit, rounding down)
Fragstorm is potentially more shots against hordes but its not guaranteed. However, Storm Bolters are reliable.
Icarus Slot
Icarus Rocket Pod
Range 24", D3 Attacks, Hitting on 3+, S8, Ap -1, 2 Damage each
Anti-fly 2+ (Wounds units with the Fly Keyword on a 2+)
Additional slot:
Multi Melta
Range 18", 2 Attacks, Hitting on 3+, S9, Ap -4, D6 Damage each
Melta 2 (At half range of 12", add +2 Damage)
Ironhail Heavy Stubber
Range 36", 3 Attacks, Hitting on 3+, S4, Ap 0, 1 Damage each
Rapid Fire 3 (Add 3 shots at half range of 18")
Melee:
Armoured hull
3 Attacks, Hitting on 6+, S4 Ap 0, 1 Damage each
Abilities
Deadly Demise D3 (When it is destroyed, roll a Dice on a 6, all units within 6" of this unit suffers D3 Mortal Wounds)
Aquilon Optics
Each time this unit shoots, it can re-roll one To-Hit roll, it can re-roll one To-Wound roll and it can re-roll one Damage roll.
All three. Some abilities you have to choose one of the three. This one can do all 3 concurrently. Obviously you would be using this on the main gun's attacks!
Thoughts
This is a fantastic tank! It's anti-tank capability is high! If it hits and wounds with both shots on its main gun that will be 8 - 18 Wounds of damage on a big target like a Knight.
I want one!
